I haven't played many fps games, and particularly not any online shooters. But that said, I do agree with you that DUST is feeling a bit "ho-him" and generic. However, other than satisfying a different aesthetic (note that I did not say "fetish" or "kink"), I really don't see how giving some players ears and a tail will make the game any less generic. As such, that is why I don't think it worthwhile to diverge from the canon EVE narrative just for an aesthetic. well I wasn't directing the "low budget" comment at you it was someone else, so sorry if you thought I was. also giving them what im mentioning is a bit more than ears and tails.
