I know I might get some hate on this topic but I do think Dust 514 could work on the Wii U, the console it self has grown to be a lot better hardware wise and the over all people that use this console are not rely all kids. Your get kids in all games but I do think if CCP wants to make dust 514 a console game they should look into growing into the Wii U, to maybe grow there numbers so dust 514 does not have to relay only on the PS3 people.
Bigger numbers means more and better battles and I only want to see dust 514 become better and better over time.
I would love to hear from other people on this, plz no trolls, I want to know the whys in why it should or should not be thought about. |

Hmmm, maybe because we never heard about any CCP-Nintendo discussions ? And also, maybe because CCP got its hands full at the moment with the PS3 ?
BTW,, You'll get trolled. |

Worked that part out but u rely never answered me though, I have seen some chat from the CCP- Devs saying that they thought about going to the Wii U, I only want to know if the players would be happy to see two Consoles working together. |

From what I've heard, CCP are building DUST to work on the PS4, which will probably have superior hardware to the Wii U. I don't really see the point of moving to the Wii U as well, because that would make things twice as hard for CCP as they would have to program the game to work on two different machines. Updates would be twice as slow, and I doubt most people would wait 2-3 months for a new build. |

XBOX and WII support too many family oriented games, family oriented games bring in screeching 12 year olds. Screeching 12 year olds bring even more screeching twelve year olds. Rinse repeat.
PS3 is the perfect console for Dust 514. Network is free, less family oriented games, software and company based in japan, and a majority of system owners are 15+. Xbox is terribad, red light of death (no reimbursment) they still havent fixed that problem and will undoubtedly be present in the 720.
PS3 has the yellow light but the solution was produced (better fan purchasable at walmart) and no issues problem solved. They kept their little peripheral for "movement" simple and it rarely has issues. Dont if youve used a kinect but god help you if you get a hair cut or a bruise that swells around your eye. PS3 just oozes efficiency, granted they get hacked, but hey what do you expect for a free network, **** happens.
The WII U is all family all the time, they can try to introduce new genres but it is doomed to mario remakes and dance central. Plus i dont think the damned thing could comprehend dust. It would not recognize the format and bust open. |

I'm sorry but what ur saying it that only 14 year olds play Wii U and no other Consoles... Look at the games available on PS3 and XBox 360. Compare that to the games typically available on Nintendo consoles.
Nintendo's product range is MUCH more heavily weighted in favour of children's entertainment, and most of their products are marketed towards early teenagers or younger. The other consoles have a much larger range of 15+ and 18+ rated titles. It's provable fact that the Nintendo consoles are more heavily focused on the younger market, and it's a provable fact that the average age of Nintendo gamers is lower than on the other console brands.
EDIT: Also... Wii-U |

It was suppost to be on Xbox also a few years ago http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dust_514
During E3 2011, it was confirmed that Dust 514 is to be released exclusively on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.[1][29] A beta would be held before the end of 2011 followed by a release in the summer of 2012. DUST 514 was initially slated to be the first cross platform game, pitting Xbox 360 and PS3 players with each other but CCP has since dropped the Xbox 360 as a potential platform; the choice of PlayStation 3 exclusive was determined by Sony's more open platform allowing Dust 514 to connect to the Eve Online Server, Tranquility, whereas Microsoft's Xbox Live did not.[30][31] It was also confirmed after E3 2011 that Dust 514 utilizes Havok middleware technology.[32] |

I was thinking it was nearly impossible to link two different consoles! This gives me LOTS of hope ! Maybe in the future I will be able to play with my cousin (XBOX fan) Still, I don't remember where I saw , but after the PS3 version is complete , they would move to the PC version... |

Well at first, CCP wanted to develop dust for both xbox and PS3. Unlike what many people thinks, Sony didnt make an exclusivity deal. Crosoft was just not ready to give CCP what they needed to make the game work when Sony was inclined to develop micro-transactions and rethink access to patching for the game.
And clearly, i would have loved to see Dust be a cross-platform Xbox\PS3. I think it would have been a good asset to develop the game's notoriety. And it would probably have been quite fun. |

Dust has as much chance of going to Xbox or wii U or PC as the uncharted series does going to Xbox or wii U or PC, not going to happen, never will happen and the quicker people get over it then the quicker we can free up space on this forum by eliminating the repeated thread posts like 'will dust come to Xbox?'........'dust 514 and PC release date'.......'why dust should come to wii U'......'why did ccp screw us Xbox owners?'.......'im a butt hurt PC player, when is dust coming to PC?' and so forth and so forth. |

Nintendo seem to focus on its own franchise, they also build their console with that in mind. As for Dust 514 on the WiiU.. That is up to Nintendo Online policy. Are they open to cross-play? That is the question. |

Whether Nintendo are up for cross play or not is irrelevant bro, the fact of the matter is that Nintendo and Microsoft would want ccp to charge gamers for their expansion packs and for playing online (as well as the microtransactions). ccp have never and never will charge for their expansions/dlc, and Microsoft don't like that. |

Wii u has underclassed hardware and nintendo favors kiddy games and heavy censorship.
Xbox while on par with ps3 in power microsoft refuses to not be able to make off dlc and refuse to adjust.
Pc they are aiming at a different market
The ps3 has power and thier management is flexible, also being free network access Superior system and averge 15+
So nintendo market is to narrow microsoft to greedy and pc defeats the purpose of a new market

It all boils down to ONE simple question:
Does Nintendo allow CCP to run its own servers?
Sony does, thus you get Dust 514 on PlayStation Microsoft doesnt, thus no Dust 514 Nintendo?? |

From what I read, Microsoft wanted control of game servers which CCP wanted to retain full control of so Microsoft turned DUST down. Microsoft's loss. As for Nintendo, they are too focused with Wii U to think much beyond its immediate console and game sales at this time. |

Wii U will be a fad that'll die. It's line up is weak when you consider everyone would prefer the triple A games on more powerful consoles. The controller has some potential for DUST though. Consider the RTS element of this game and what that control could add to it.
But then I'd refuse to allow cross play as Wii-U players would have a huge advantage. |

Microsoft is already making a tablet that is controller compatible with there new xbox, and maybe even the 360. And unlike WII-u, the controller is optional. |
