For those of you that don't have mics on, or happen to be in corp chat.
The universal sign for out of ammo is a couple of elbows to get your attention and then shoot at the ground with sidearm.
The other universal sign for your about to squished is a few shots and then look up "a tank about to land on your head."
Of course got to add. Shoot at a friendly vehicle "stop dude let me in, fatty needs a ride"
Please learn the I'm out of ammo sign, I shoot a lot. |

If I have a Nanohive, am near a teammate, and they're not moving away from the area, I'm dropping a Nanohive. If you shoot the ground with your SMG, I'll try and aim for that spot (I usually miss, but it's fun to try).
I use the "shoot vehicle to ask for ride" universal sign as well. |

I like the one, guy shots you in back while in an installation turret "I want my turn."
Or the pilot shooting you in the back "Hey I need a gunner for my dropship." |

Good stuff :)
Some bluedots dont check their mini-map too often. My sign for "enemy over there" is shoot/elbow bluedot to grab attention and shoot in general direction of enemy, has worked wonders quite a few times :) |

Join match in a squad?
Stay close to a supply depot?
Call in a free LAV and drive to a supply depot?
I'm not saying I won't do throw a hive if I've got one, but if you join a match on your own, the general idea is that you are on a team of individuals with their own agendas - we should all figure out ways to be self sufficient. As I saw in another post, "blue dots gonna blue dot". |

Spawn in a Logi, put down an uplink and a hive where you plan to be, go to supply depot, change out, come back. There you go. Solved. It's silly to depend on random blue dots to supply you when they are trying to do something else. The lack of revives when you go down is enough to realize this.

I used to run around with my own nano hive on assault suit , but have started to run a 2nd tier injector for revives, I'm really liking it. I get the same amount of wp for reviving as I do for killing someone

All this shooting and elbowing... This is going to be funny when friendly fire comes online.
And if friendly fire isn't turned on when Dust goes live, then it leaves out one of the great aspects of the Eve universe. |

As to most of the responses so far...you do know some maps dotn't have depots, right? That's why you'll see me running up to random blue dots with my HMG out elbowing everyone in site. It never works. Something like the squad commander's wheel for needing ammo would be awesome. |

How can you be sure that person has a nanohive? Also, sometimes I drive away despite being shot at because I'm pretty sure most randoms aren't capable of effectively using the turret I happen to have on the LAV I'm driving at the time.
To add one: the universal sign for "get out of my LAV or move to the passenger seat because you suck at driving/shooting" is shooting/elbowing the driver/gunner repeatedly |

Okay, I really appreciate this. Particularly the first. I play Logi, but I admit I'm no expert. I had a guy jumping around behind me and wondered what the hell he was doing. He then smacked me in the face a few times and shot me with his pistol and kept bouncing. I thought he was bonkers.
...I feel sorry for that guy. I had a full complement of nanohives, too |

Another one-
The universal sign for "get in the turret, this LAV is worth WAAAAAAY more than your current fitting, and is way more effective" is an LAV driver trying to run you over, when they're on your team.
Because most people didn't know what this signal meant, a 175,000 ISK LAV (my second best one) with a prototype missile turret, could've gone to waste. Luckily, someone got in about a minute before the battle ended, and we got at least 5 kills in that short window of time- most of which were OHKs. |

If I'm in the middle of an AV run, and have a target for my weapon, or if I'm going for an objective or hackable installation, I ignore this signal.
Otherwise, I'll usually take a short spin in the LAV, then jump out when someone else is close enough to take over (I have bad aim). Seeing a good LAV spewing missiles across the field, then the gunner bailing out while obviously still safe, tends to work better than randomly running someone over. |
