How can you be sure that person has a nanohive? Also, sometimes I drive away despite being shot at because I'm pretty sure most randoms aren't capable of effectively using the turret I happen to have on the LAV I'm driving at the time.
To add one: the universal sign for "get out of my LAV or move to the passenger seat because you suck at driving/shooting" is shooting/elbowing the driver/gunner repeatedly |

Another one-
The universal sign for "get in the turret, this LAV is worth WAAAAAAY more than your current fitting, and is way more effective" is an LAV driver trying to run you over, when they're on your team.
Because most people didn't know what this signal meant, a 175,000 ISK LAV (my second best one) with a prototype missile turret, could've gone to waste. Luckily, someone got in about a minute before the battle ended, and we got at least 5 kills in that short window of time- most of which were OHKs. |

Remember kids: if you do a signal for a nanohive, act it out all the way.
Yesterday, someone was following me around, shooting at me constantly. I wasn't quite sure what they were doing because they only shot. Eventually I remembered this thread, took out my nanohive, and they seemed to react. When I threw my nanohive into some cover, the stopped bothering me.
However, they didn't get into the LAV I called in. |

If I'm ever not carrying a nanohive (as long as I keep using scrambler pistols, mass drivers, or remote explosives, I'll be carrying some), I'll just cycle through my selection of other equipment |
