Both teams played in the same environment. Both teams could have requisitioned the same available weapon systems.

Of course, we are talking about it at the moment, you maybe have got the better strategy/tactic/teamplay to win this tournament (skills and fit too)
You have a really good adaptation with what the market offers, and your way to see the game.
BUT, our 2nd match against GAC was just totally different. I don't know how they saw it on their side, but it was "latency playable". And we had the same 15, with the same aptitudes...
Right, GAC are not as good as you are with vehicules, but it was obsviouly a another networking world. |

SI played some terrific matches today using what the game provided, and depending on who we face our tactics will change, but in this case Sha's decisions were right on and our players did a terrific job analyzing the battle field then using the tools given to us to control it. Bashing in anyway after the battle is something that should never happen, I'm sure players had strengths on the other teams that were not utilized due to the direction of the battle, but once again its a "WAR game" and if people are confused with the concept :
War is an organized, armed, and, often, a prolonged conflict that is carried on between states, nations, or other parties typified by extreme aggression, social disruption, and usually high mortality.[1][2] War should be understood as an actual, intentional and widespread armed conflict between political communities, and therefore is defined as a form of political violence.[1][3] The set of techniques used by a group to carry out war is known as warfare.
Armies will always use the best tactics and weapons in their arsenal to win said battles it is part of the techniques that make up "Warfare ".

I told you, I've got no problem with what u used, or the way you used it.
But I can't take out of my mind this question : why the game was so stable against GAC (a EU Corp) on a EU server ? It felt like a game. Against you, it was a war against lag and game playability. It wasn't a game at all, because with the same forces than you on our side, we won't have a any chance either... |

For a game that the entire concept is centered directly on CORP (clan) meta game and tactics on large scale maps in an even larger universe....
I wonder why they have waited so long to actually start beta testing the CORPS ...
This current beta build and this tourney are a good start in the right direction by CCP in my opinion...
Getting back to the core roots of the very concept of DUST 514...

Agree.
DUST 514 is maybe not the game that I was (some of us were) waiting for... It's closer to BF than to MAG : VPS 1st, FPS 2nd.
But if we check carefully the trailer, all you see is vehicules and heavies... So it's clearly right on the board : all you have to do is being immortal, and just fews options are on the market to aim this as we have so large open maps.
Assault, scouts and logis can just exist in a communication ambush.

Well, I really don't blame SI. And obviously, I didn't see before this morning that you could fit small missile turret prototype on a milicia dropship with so few SPs (WTF?????)... Add a gunner with passives turrets skills, and it's really OS all the time. Well, I'm working on my piloting...
But trust me when I tell you that I aimed a tank with a Forge, HUD was red, standing on the road in front of him (he was aiming C, not me) and bullets just went through !!!
So tell me how was it possible to Sir Meode to make 40+ kills with a dropship everytime in mouvement with same lags that I'd got ???????
Well, I'm sure that you'll have win with a stable game server, and the same organisation we all put in place. BUT you'll have lose more than 2 tanks and 3 dropships.... |

without trying to sound bigheaded, iam awesome shot with missile turrets. you should try ADS (Advance dodging skills) was a good game though. WTF have some VERY nice players.
