AV HAV's Heavies Logibros
and now Dropships.
This game is losing much of its appeal due to every role in it getting a heavy handed nerfs because some people can't handle getting killed a few times. Some nerfs are necessary, like orbitals, but its going too far. Just sick and tired of every post on here being "I died to X while using Y, so nerf X and buff Y." Its ridiculous. |

yes I do agree with you, i mostly just complain about people camping the spawn points :U

Amen to that.
Whiners = Northern Coalition = CCP's favorite alliance -> Solution = Everyone else in the game unite to smash the whiners so hard they stop playing the game and all that's left of their temporary glory are old youtube videos talking about victories over corporations and alliances no one remembers.
Really though, I understand this is a beta and this is the time to test all balancing options, so sometimes one thing will be overpowered and another build it'll be something else. I'm sure CCP is gathering a huge amount of statistics on what is killing what how often and hopefully the ultimate goal is to make all weapon types and vehicles a legitimate option instead of... this. |

Totally agree!! Please CCP no more nerfs or buffs on weapons or vehicles. I think a nice balance has now been met, concentrate now on fixing the bugs etc. If people want to buff their weapons etc, stop whining & earn the SP to put into the relevant skills & mods!

We just need to buff things back up and then stop nerfing anything else until most of the assets are in and we can actually test balance rather than complaints. |

The trolls on the forums really annoy me. We are here to test and improve the game. I surprised that CCP hasn't permabanned most of the trolls, I guess they have far more self control than I do.
Also ARs are too OP, other weapons should be buffed in order to compete. Give us an SMG and shotgun varient with smaller spread. I'd love to see a forge gun with less damage but more useful for anti-infantry. |

Whiners equal pretty much everyone in every game, when they don't get their way. Or don't get to keep whatever Overpowered weapon or exploit they were using.
Much like the OP in this thread is a whiner, because he's actually whining about Drop ships having a flight ceiling now. Oh nooes, now they move so fast they can't be taken out by swarms, and are **** all hard to hit with a forge gun. As opposed to how they were before, when they could simply fly about the district ceiling, stay stationary, not be hit by anything, yet the gunners could still fire and hit things on the ground with the rail and missile turrets. Nope, that didn't need to be fixed at all...wasn't any blaring faults with that scenario.
There isn't a whole lot wrong with AV right now, other than not being able to counter drop ships at all. There is nothing really wrong with HAV's now, other than they aren't invincible solo pwn mobiles now. If they have support gunners or a logi supporting them they're still pretty tough. Trust me, most of the ppl whining about 1 hit kills in an HAV from militia swarms either aren't paying attention to their dmg meters, or not realizing they were getting hit likely by several AV/Flux nades at the same time. They just see the swarm launcher being the killing blow and rage about it. Fact, forge guns and swarms to around the same total damage per hit. I know for a FACT it takes a good 6 shots to take out an average fit standard tank with a blastwave 9k330 forge gun (the aurum one), and thats at reasonably close to mid range. Therefor it's going to take about the same amount of hits to do so from an equal level swarm launcher.
About heavies, it wasn't just heavies that got the bat on that one. All suits above militia or standard did. I so enjoy getting gunned down in an assault suit, but random spray from an AR. At least most snipers take at least 2 shots. I think that also goes along partially with my noticing that shield recharge and armor repair don't appear to actually repair your suit to the other players. I do agree that higher level suits need some kind of a resistance, toughness, or base hp buff.
The logi thing is temporary until they can do a major patch. |

Much like this poster is whining. Dropships arnt that hard to kill. Only skilled dropships are hard to kill, as it should be, and only by skilled forgegunners (See Kain Spero vs Sin3). Sorry you dont have a one shot blapcannon. If you would take the time to read some of my other posts you would know that I have advocated for BALANCING the swarms and forges to make it where skill in use is more valuable to taken dropships and tanks out.
But no, you're just another whiner who wants everything on EASY MODE cause you can't be bothered.

I mean, the lock-on ability is essential for taking down aircraft, but why not have a heavier AV weapon designed specifically for hunting tanks that requires you to keep the reticle on the target to score a hit? That way you can have a very deadly AV weapon without making it instagib Dropships and LAVs. |

I've always felt Forgegun = high dmg, should be countered by short range. Swarms long range, require a lock, and take the shortest path to target after flying in the direction of the launcher for 100 m. |

the worst one i think is the nerf to SP's and ISK earning, major grind for anyone who isn't a so called 'casual player,' only on once a week for MAYBE an hour. sorry CCP, i LIKE playing your game for hours on end. why is it that I'M the one getting punished? |

The Fanfest build was FUN, it had its problems of course, but everything have been nerfed since. Everything have gotten slower, and more frustrating. |
