These bows your suggesting would be incredibly OP. Arrows that can wipeout someone's shield and then another one to drill into his armour? Doesn't sound fair to me. AV bows and arrows are just plain stupid IMO. If they can survive hits from a FORGE GUN a bow will do **** all. And even if they weren't over powered they still don't fit into the lore of the EVE universe. |

i agree, unless maybe we make a mechanical catapult arm to throw rocks. that would counter out the bow for equality sake. |

Oh man that game SOoooOO Sucked.
While I hated the game... Cause a lot of the animations and sounds of enemies... Seemed to be all, F-d up or... Copy and pasted from somethin else.
Like the game Two worlds II and The Witcher 2 .... All the sounds from Two worlds II seem to be in the game Witcher but ... Not quite the game of the witcher... Either way Two worlds II ruled ... The Witcher 2 SUCKKED.
Now what was I talken about....
Oh right, Xbow .... I think it would be awesome to have that weapon though... I think a whole assortment of stealth weapons should be made. it would be cool if i could like climb buildings and stick myself to the ceiling...
Where some of that sorta is excessive, but...
I hope they make a bunch of weapons just for stealth orientation of the game.

I do not think this is a good idea because it almost makes no sense and i dont like insta kill any ways. maybe something like it but more practical and makes more sense in this game maybe like a targeting equipment slot hold on the guy for 3 seconds and he will be visibal on map for lets say 30 seconds. |

I think the mass driver IS the crossbow. You have a low velocity projectile delivering an explosive charge farther than you can throw a grenade. |

I did not join Internet spaceships warfare and supersoldier immortal killers on a dynamic battlefield with superweapons and orbital strikes to enjoy the awesome power of a weapon that was considered overpowered in the freaking dark ages.
I don't even understand why the hell crossbows show up in MODERN warfare games.
At no point is a crossbow even marginally better than a sniper rifle of any kind.
And furthermore, we are playing a science fiction game dammit! Quit trying to practice threadomancy!

Actually after seeing the Crysis footage. I think hes on 2 something. It could be made to fit in the lore. Technology was lost and found ? so why couldnt this be added, take another look at the footage and Xpand your mind..... Oh yeah, these dropsuits capable of withstanding gunfire, and having a shield can be destroyed by a bolt from a crossbow.
I think crossbows should be added. And if anyone is dumb enough to use it, it should do no damage, and make the user look like an idiot. In fact, it should announce to everybody in big letters on the middle of the screen
"Some moron is using the crossbow" then it should have him as a colored dot on the map, and allow friendly fire on his ass.
It should also give bonus points for the kill. |
