In ages past there was a weapon that was so powerful nothing could stand in its way. Unfortunately we lost the knowledge of how to make it. However recently in archeological digs we have come across instruction on how to make another one. Thus we bring you the most powerful weapon......the crossbow. These powerful artifacts shoot wooden bolts with steel tips at 300 feet per second. Your shield that is designed to stop plasma encased assault rifle shells cannot withstand this mighty beast of a gun. Unfortunately the cost of making this gun is extremely high because you must use the tree of power in making this bow so supply is always low. Good hunting immortals. |

Your still thinking about the ROBIN HOOD type bow and arrow..... TREES? Really, TREES? WOOD? Really, WOOD? Lol, try PLASMA ARROW TIPS and Metal shafts made of the same materials as DROPSUITS.

And still, it can't fire very fast, and what the **** is a plasma tip? Do you even know what you're talking about here?

I like crossbows in game ever since half-life opposing force but the way i see it there are 2 ways to have one in dust
1. side arm, relatively low tech, but because the bolt has no tech it goes through shields, doing maybe 10-20 damage to armour
(this adds something new a way to kill a heavyly shielded person with low armour but with a slow fire rate its shouls not be OP)
2. equipment, this would be more hight tech, this bolt would be a tracking device hit a tank,dropship or heavy and they stay on the radar
(again adding something new)
just some ideas |

What are PLASMA rounds? Arent they shot out of the AR??? Am i really that slow for thinking of PLASMA TIPS for a crossbow? Thought i was keeping in line with what was already here. So here eat these PLASMA EMP TIPS, your sheilds are down. NOW WHAT? Did you look at the footage and let your mind run free. Its ok to have an imagination thats where actual ideas come from. like, like making a game placed in the future called umm, umm DUST 514. This Beta started out as just a thought or idea.
