Learn to play the game or don't play it. Its that simple.
They are playing the game. Just because they aren't playing the way you want them to doesn't mean they aren't playing. SP is more important then winning at this stage. no corp isk or eve interests exist. You want the team to win? it takes SP to be good at winning and over all personal experience. This is no different then PvE when they add it to the game ppl need sp to actually PLAY THE GAME!

Mine are not undervalued. Logi SP is over valued. Repair a vehicle for 100wp. No skill there, and unless the vehicle does something special, it accomplishes nothing. Support is only ever that. It supports the "main" element of your force. Think about things from a bigger perspective. The guys who killed everyone and took the objective, or the guys repairing and rezzin each other but doing no killing. Which ones do you hire...?
Support should be rewarded, but Israel points all really dumb all round. 150wp for killing an RDV? Wtf? Only 60 for a Rez? And 100 for capping the letter... It needs thought but I can't do a thread on this. As you can see, Logi's will be angry with my views.
Edit: btw these guys suck at boosting. Supply depot + militia nanohives + r1 + defend order = SP farming. |

Not be selfish and sit in the back and farm SP to benefit thereself. I see that some of you support things like this. It is good to see who to look out for in matches. @OP, i agree with the suggestion that adding the mechanism to only allocate WP to enemy damaged repairs is a very good answer.

and what about us legit logis i use my support to stand behind my squad, repair them and keep them full of ammo or if we have a tank lav or ds that we are in get damage ill fix it.
i dont sit in the back and my biggest sp returns is when i combo support with offense i went 11 and 5 the other day and got 84k sp i was the highest on the board for kills but i was hacking the turrents reviving team mates and repairing anything friendly
my buddy who plays offensive only went 10 and 2 and got 50 k hes a heavy so now equipment for him but he hacked some installations and such stop lone wolfing it and help your team its not all about kills is the point im making. |
