Mine are not undervalued. Logi SP is over valued. Repair a vehicle for 100wp. No skill there, and unless the vehicle does something special, it accomplishes nothing. Support is only ever that. It supports the "main" element of your force. Think about things from a bigger perspective. The guys who killed everyone and took the objective, or the guys repairing and rezzin each other but doing no killing. Which ones do you hire...?

Support should be rewarded, but Israel points all really dumb all round. 150wp for killing an RDV? Wtf? Only 60 for a Rez? And 100 for capping the letter... It needs thought but I can't do a thread on this. As you can see, Logi's will be angry with my views.

Edit: btw these guys suck at boosting. Supply depot + militia nanohives + r1 + defend order = SP farming.

To put this disaster somewhat back on track.....

If you want the devs to fix an exploit, exploit it! A lot. It is a BETA and everything should be tested thoroughly including high end fittings and gear. The more people with high end skills that can attain the high end gear and test it, the better. It may take boosting to attain those levels and that's fine with me. How will you know what gear/weapons need to be fixed if nobody is able to get them, use them, and abuse them?? That's my opinion. When it comes time for release, that's a totally different story and i hope it's all been remedied at that point.

On a side note,myself and a couple of our guys joined a battle and we decided to test boosting. During the process we attained 5 orbital strikes ourselves in a shockingly short amount of time. Suddenly i noticed an extraordinary amount of orbital strikes being placed one after the other on the battlefield targeting the rest of my team that was actually playing. I realized there must be other people boosting in the match on the other team. We scoped the area and noticed a suspicious cluster of orange players with a couple of LAVs. We intentionally dumped 4 of our orbitals out in no man's land, so as not to be totally abusing our boost testing to other players' detriment. I don't want to cost someone their expensive proto fits if i'm not really playing the match. That's not cool.

The last orbital? We dropped it directly on the suspicious cluster of orange just for laughs and sure enough, every single kill was a member of a well known boosting clan.

Again, not blaming them for doing it. Drawing attention to boosting is a good thing and they're obviously doing it enough and in a way to draw disdain from the community. To actually use the orbitals attained while boosting to target the enemy is a grey area for me. That's just my own opinion though and why we dumped ours out in the open desert. It's totally up to them to use them how they wish. I don't condemn them for boosting, though there is a difference between exploit testing and exploit abuse. Regardless, both help get things fixed so i'm fine with it either way.

To those that send hate mail to people that are boosting, exploring the maps, flying dropships or driving LAVs out in no man's land, or pretty much any other thing that is seen as not helping the team :

Grow up. Test something. Find bugs and exploits. Find things that are OP or need balancing. Don't just play the game and blame someone else for putting in the work to find those things. If you want a better, balanced, fair game at release... BREAK IT NOW. If you just want to play the game now, better stock up on tissues because a month after release you are going to have many things to cry about because they made it through BETA without enough testing.

Oh, and last thing before I get off my soapbox. You people are NOT in a "clan". Quit calling it that. You are in a corporation. Please use the correct vernacular before you come onto the forums and talk.

Since we are here bashing STB and their tank hiding ways....what is with putting STB in your name? To differentiate yourself? You do realize that is what Corps are for, right? You putting your "clan tag" only shows to me and the rest of the people out there that you are a bunch of MAG/COD/whatever else is the FOTM for FPS gamers. Do us a favor and leave, you will only stick around until the next big FPS comes out. Dust is NOT a game that you just hop into a play for a little bit, then go to the next game. Dust is going to be part of one of the longest running MMO's out there. And coming from an EvE player (me, duh), you WILL get laughed at for your little STB/EV crap on your name. It just shows how much of little kids you guys really are.

And as far as what this topic is all about, STB gets 1 or 2 guys into tanks at beginning of this build, then rest of team sits in turrets. I can believe Ted has no tanks. That is because Ted is one of those SP farmers that just jump into a teammates tank. Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black there Ted.
