Back to the OP, the best way to combat the issue is to only give skill points for repairing damage done by the enemy and give zero points for self inflicted damage or teammate damage, they did this in MAG so they could do it in Dust.
EDIT: and TedNugent no easy mode here stb come and get it tank hider  I've gone up against God nova, Youngcuz, and stcarlos. They are all good players and no offense but I find them more impressive than any of the warriors I went up against. Considering there's maybe half a dozen of us playing right now, half on eu and half on us, we seem to be making quite an impression.

So because you have STB in front of your name you can tell people how to play the game??? Your clan name was only remotely know on MAG, and MAG was hardly competitive. The most complicated command was Zerg B or A, in a clan match. Furthermore, your clan was not even close to the best clan in MAG LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. I can't wait until this NDA is removed so I can show what utter garbage your clan is.

People "abusing" these things are obviously really bugging people. It's not the fact the boosters get so much SP. It's the fact 8vs16 aint no fun :p There are exceptions to this rule.
I don't really see too much wrong with it, mostly because friendly fire will allow me to just explode the vehicle they're repairing if I must. Also the Dropship MCC repping is legit IMHO. It won't stop you losing if the enemy win on the ground, but it might need some balancing (damage/rep/MCC hp). Again, Dropships are pretty flimsy, so removing them shouldn't prove too hard. I'm obviously assuming coordinated play here.
Because boosting is a team bonding experience. Pisses me off if I'm having a bad game too.
