I don't know if this has been brought up in this area yet but i believe these grenades are unfair just like how the remote explosives were in the E3 build.
Yes, i have been killed many times b4 with these grenades. Yes, i have raged because of them.
but these grenades seriously need some work done to them. Here are a couple of reasons why i think these things are cheap/overpowered
Situation1: Guy shoots me twice in the back, i turn around and he rushes me and throws a thunker grenade and boom im died b4 i even shoot a round.
Situation2: Guy starts shooting me, i shoot back and as im about to win the gunfight he throws a thunker and goodbye. -_-
Situation3: Guy sees my name, throws the first thunker and misses, runs back up and to throw another and misses once again. Then as im about to kill him guess what kills me.. this^
Now i believe having great skill should not be overthrown by such a weapon as these.
There are a couple of ways i think could fix this:
1. Remove from game 2. Decrease the amount (to one) carried and decrease the re-supply rate of the grenade to avoid spamming it at supply depots 3. Increase the detonating time to around 1.5 secs and lower blast radius 4. Just decrease the damage overall

I support this.
I don't think they'll be removed though and I don't like giving them a detonation time, so that leaves us with decreased damage or a decreased amount carried, or both.
Decreasing the amount carried to one without decreasing the damage still leaves us with a grenade that can instakill any non-heavy. Then he can just resupply and go on and instakill the next guy.
I would rather decrease the amount carried to two and decrease the damage to 300. With a damage of 300 you can't really instakill anyone with full health. |

Well you can't really decrease amount of it anymore, 1 is kinda too understocked So that means that damage needs to be decreased significantly, cause anyone can just toss 2 of em to kill anyways. But because of that, that means you need to have some sort of delay between the 2 grenades. |

The really bad thing is that there is no isk variant. Remove them from game or give us a isk variant. |

The best is, when you surprise someone from behind, have him down to a sliver of health, when he turns around and throws such a thing at your feet... |

I shout" pay 2 win" over coms everytime I throw them and its not got old yet lolz.
Needs some major balance I mean they do epic dmg and you cant really miss. If impact nades stay they need a massive reduction in dmg. |

They may be open to abuse and exploit, but if they end up on a player driven market for isk how are they pay to win? |

They do have a isk copy but i think they took it off the market, but having a isk version wont solve the problem it will only make it worse. Everyone will start using this things just like the REs last build. I'm not crying over this but i have been in a game where half the other team were using thunkers and they never tried killing me with an AR, they just threw them around blowing everyone else up. Now i know they paid for it but this really is a game killer. Picture having a corp battle with nothing but thunkers and not one shot being fired. This will happen if this doesnt get fixed. Hell i have a proto suit and i believe i should win a gun fight from better skill/strat, not lose cause they decide to throw a insta pop nade mid-gunfight. |

Now that is a fix I can get behind. They are not really that powerful anyway. I find that they will not kill a full health assault suit. The only reason they seem OP is that they actually always explode unlike other grenades. If any nerfing is going to be done let it be a shrinking of their blast radius, to 3m perhaps. |

First off, u sir are silly. Moving on...
Spend 15 seconds imagining if every single player had access to an isk version of this grenade. Without a nerf, as well as adding an isk version, this grenade would turn into the standard for every dropsuit who isnt carrying an AV grenade.
The more players who get one shot by them, the more players who will use them to counter. Welcome to Dodgeball 514 |

This. Adding an ISK version will only compound the problem. You'll no longer have any sort of Pay2Win scenario, true, but you'll instead have basically every player using these. And as for damage, I've been one shot in the Type-II assault suit with full shields and armor and severely damaged in my Type-A suit.
If you want to keep the detonation on impact, damage and blast radius need to be reduced. |

Agreed. We don't want the game dumbed down enough that people can just run around throwing grenades at their own feet for free kills. Furthermore, your just tempting someone to make a targeting hack for it. |

For once an STB with whom I agree. I hear they are making ISK variants, but screw that noise, the entire idea of contact grenades ruins the art of cooking the pineapple. |
