I do think we should have killstreak rewards, but not any bullshit like some OP weapon or vehicle. I think that you should get like a CONTRACT COMPLETED 3 kill streak and are rewards like 5ksp and a few WP if the killstreak is higher or maybe you get like a triple or quad kill. Maybe killing someone in the air will get you a CONTRACT COMPLETED. Things like this seem fair and not OP,plus they are rewarding for doing good. It would help when you resupply your teammates. Frankly, I don't want it. If we add those kill streaks, then the hardcore COD players will complain about how Dust 514 is just a copy-paste version of COD. |

Your reward for being good at killing people is the ISK, SP, and WP you get from killing them. Whenthe game goes live, talk to your Corps CEO or CFO and see if he/she wants to give you rewards for getting a ton of kills in a match, if they do, kudos for you, but I don't think it should be a built in game mechanic. |

Maybe it would be a good feature to be built in for corps to use. Your corp CEO can set requirements and bonus amount for certain things.

AHEM,
Warpoint system is what you are looking for.
Unfourunately with the warpoint system there is a major stark difference. Other players are the kill streak or you built that kill streak or your command officer is a tightwad and denies your request on the grounds of 'its a waste of isk.'
So what possible killstreaks are we talking about?
Active scan sweeps - Pings everything caught on the map, its possible to defeate this scan though and remain hidden with certain equipment.
Building Deployment, Thoughout the battle the commander sitting in the Defense HQ or the MCC can call down a building of any type where needed such as a turret or CRU or supply depot.
Off district Strike - With proper cordinates set and chain of command approval the commander can call in a strike from another district such as airstrikes or offsight artillery.
Vehicle Calldowns - Commander has the ability to approve or deny vehicle requests, espeically if they're not your vehicles.
Orbital Strike - With enough warpoints you can transmit the access codes to a waiting palyer in obrit and get a strike in and throw down the beacon. |

This I support.
In Eve Online, a player-driven event called Hulkageddon (Google it) rewards high-sec suicide gankers with ISK, Ships, PLEX, and other things that were donated by other players as a reward for achieving certain goals.
Here are some examples from the recent event.

Killstreaks would give the game an 'arcade' feel it doesn't need. You get isk and sp for a job well done, that's all you need. The game isn't about running around and getting as many kills as possible, it's objective based. |

All fps have kill streaks right now. It would be a disappointment if the game didnt. Im just wondering what are the players going to get. Is it going to be a small award or big award.... |

Absolutely not needed. Player already get rewards according to their efficiency. This would only push players into snipe tower camping to get a few more SP. Also corp tools dont need that either. Corp leaders are supposed to know who needs a speciall reward without such thing. |

They need to add as much as they can to the gameplay. My question is, why should they hold back and not add kill streak in some form? The more gameplay, the better. Add as much as possible. Just be creative.... |

Actually, that may not be entirely true. Have you read the 514 Chronicle? It begins to introduce something called "Sleepers" which invented the technology used to create the mercenaries. The original implants were not actually produced by New Eden scientists, rather they were discovered and being tested. I suggest you read the chronicle, it really is quite interesting, a good read if I do say so myself.
Edit: Also, if killstreaks are introduced, I will be disappointed. The only thing I would really be okay with, would be a few extra War Points for you 5th kill and anything following, or something like that. Say kills 1-4 reward +50, kills 5 and on reward +75. Other than that, I see no place for kill streaks in this game. |

Adding any kind of killstreak reward promotes camping. Numerous people play the game like that as it is, trying to protect their k/d's or what not. |

No, killstreaks aren't needed. I play Tribes Ascend and you can spend your points on a tactical strike but you also use that for spawning vehicles and upgrading your base so there is a balance.
I don't want more random death from above in this game that isn't an Orbital strike from an actual Eve ship. I get enough of that now with getting crushed by transports. |

From the Chronicle:
"The risks are significant and cannot be ignored," replied Sarum. "The Sleepers are a civilization older than any other - older than New Eden, some believe. They may not exist in our physical realm at present, but it looks like that may stand to change. If they continue to be attacked in this way, there is no telling what they might do out of self-defense. And it is certainly not prudent for us to leave them any openings."
Also:
"Blood-red skies, strange beings, and the number 514, often written in blood," said Shakor.
It says nothing about the sleepers being Human, it only says that they are ancient. How did you gather that? |

Read other lore then just that the sleepers are the ancient human civilization from earth that came to New Eden through a wormhole but the wormhole then closed so they were cut off from the rest of society and after thousands of years they became the races we have today. Or something like that. |
