I really thought Red Dead Redemption's online zombie mode was pretty well done. I also enjoyed playing what I did of it. The ending was amazing though. As for MAG I loved MAG, but the numbers are bad unless you play sabotage. Personally if you have about eight dollars to spare go pick it up again at GameStop.

Yeah the BF and CoD series are pretty much shovelware at this point. I don't know why they don't just call them BF 2012 or CoD 2012 at this point since they seem to release one a year now.

Battlefield 3 is commercialized, not that great, and very flashy... But that does not speak for the rest of the Battlefield franchise. BFBC2 was a phenomenal game, I loved every minute spent on that. Battlefield 3 is just annoying because it was hyped up so much, everyone was so excited, and EA went "Oh yeah, this game is completely broken... Can we have $60 for it and another $20 every time we come out with a couple new maps?".

CS:GO is sooooo nostalgic! Has better graphics, little different routes made in classic maps, new gear (moltov cocktail) and tracers. Funny the forums are kind of like these with people wanting things one way others wanting them another and a lot of bickering. Talk about strict gun game, good game and cant wait for PSN release!

BF3 was a huge let down imo, I'm sure on PC it was great but after 100 hours of the console version it wore off quickly. Would have been so much better if consoles could support having as many people playing those maps as they were designed for. CS:GO looks excellent, can't wait for that. Wish more developers would basically remake some of the great older games, just give them better graphics but leave the excellent core gameplay that made them great.

Had some good times with old COD and socom, would be excellent to see them remade and not ruined.

hey BF3 isn't that bad, yeah it has some bugs but hey it's alot better than MW3 and the dlc is 15$ and it comes with maps, guns, vehicles and new game modes

Still not worth it for the horribly broken product that BF3 for PS3 is. The PC version is alright, and I cannot comment on the Xbox 360 version as I've never played it, but it is down right awful on PS3.

Honesty, I see somebody walking out in the open and I'm like "oh, I would like to aim at them" and the game is like "sorry, what was that? I wasn't listening". Seriously, the game is unplayable. Dust and CoD respond perfectly (dead zones in Dust are annoying but w/e), even the BF3 beta response was flawless. But then I got the full game and... well... I played it probably less than 10 hours. I outright gave up. The controls are so sluggish I can hardly even get kills with a shot gun. I was very, very disappointed.

what kind of t.v and video cables are you using. the first time i played on the ps3 i was using it with VGI cables and on an analog T.V (don't ask why) and i had horrible input lag, but i switched to a 1080p tv with a HDMI cable and i play flawlessly and they did have patches that took away input lag for some players

Just to add to it...

1. Now that people own servers the game is even more irritating, when I group up with my cousin and we join a clan server and we do well one of us almost always gets banned from the server out of nowhere. Great, giving people the ability to kick any challenge that comes so they can always be on the winning team and pad their stats.

2. It's a PC game ported to console, it was made with PC in mind, those maps were made for a bigger number of players than consoles can support. So with a lower player cap the game becomes even more extremely vehicle heavy. I can't imagine it being as bad on PC with higher player counts, that's a lot of potential engineers focusing on the same amount of tanks. I would expect it to be more focused on infantry play which is good imo.

I like vehicles in my shooters but I like the bulk of it to be infantry based, kind of like MAG.. it had some vehicles but it wasn't super vehicle heavy. A good mix.

3. The graphics are horrible imo, I don't understand why some people think it's amazing.. it's just blurry and gives me a headache.

Every time I start the game I feel like I'm going to have a seizure. Oh and lol at how long it took them to fix comms on PS3, by the time they finally did that I was burnt out on it. What developer screws up on comms and takes that long to fix after having so much hype? Such fail.

I expect bad company 3 (assuming they make it) will be much better than BF3 was.

It could be that my processor is damaged (not 100% sure about this, but download games tend to have very... random frame rates. Someone at GameStop suggested that this might be the issue) but I don't think thats the cause as TONS of other players are experiencing the same lag.

well have you played it scene the latest 2 patches because both of them addressed input lag and what ps3 are you using maby it's lag is worse on the older ps3

I have the 160GB Slim, got it February 2011. Not sure exactly what the model number is, but it definitely isn't a phat. I've downloaded the latest 2 patches, still have atrocious lag.

Actually I still have my original week one phatty! Sixty gig. Unfortunetly! Sony used a cheap thermal paste and my processor burned up.

Still. I have it sitting next to me as a sign of what Sony used to mean before it started to suck balls. I paid the full retail price, and ended up spending seven hundred on release. Took me a half a year to save up for that baby. Lasted me almost two years in, and when it died I managed to get a nice eighty gig from K-Mart. Which I still have actually. George Forman grills > Reboot PS3. I'm actually looking foward to the "true slim's" release though. They have sixteen gig model that is suppose to (by rumor) break the hundred dollar entry fee level!

So much win. I've played through that game so many times, the second I found out they had it on PSP I went out and bought it and played the hell out of it again. One of my favorites of all time. Games like FF tactics are probably my favorite, wonder if there's any new good ones.
