I don't know why they don't just call them BF 2012 or CoD 2012 at this point since they seem to release one a year now. Battlefield 3 is commercialized, not that great, and very flashy... But that does not speak for the rest of the Battlefield franchise. BFBC2 was a phenomenal game, I loved every minute spent on that. Battlefield 3 is just annoying because it was hyped up so much, everyone was so excited, and EA went "Oh yeah, this game is completely broken... Can we have $60 for it and another $20 every time we come out with a couple new maps?". That actually sums up what I usually hear about Battlefield3 from most Battlefield veterans. I have not played since Battlefield2 to be honest. I wish I had gotten into atleast Battlefield: Bad Company2. I do hear nothing, but remarkable things though. hey BF3 isn't that bad, yeah it has some bugs but hey it's alot better than MW3 and the dlc is 15$ and it comes with maps, guns, vehicles and new game modes |

The PC version is alright, and I cannot comment on the Xbox 360 version as I've never played it, but it is down right awful on PS3. how is it awful on the ps3 that's where i play and the only real problem i have occasional brief sound loss on Firestorm and Oman and that's it |

My input lag is so bad it's like trying to aim from inside a jello cube. Honesty, I see somebody walking out in the open and I'm like "oh, I would like to aim at them" and the game is like "sorry, what was that? I wasn't listening". Seriously, the game is unplayable. Dust and CoD respond perfectly (dead zones in Dust are annoying but w/e), even the BF3 beta response was flawless. But then I got the full game and... well... I played it probably less than 10 hours. I outright gave up. The controls are so sluggish I can hardly even get kills with a shot gun. I was very, very disappointed. what kind of t.v and video cables are you using. the first time i played on the ps3 i was using it with VGI cables and on an analog T.V (don't ask why) and i had horrible input lag, but i switched to a 1080p tv with a HDMI cable and i play flawlessly and they did have patches that took away input lag for some players |

The game only runs at 720p 60z, and I have the most disgusting input lag I have ever experienced. My TV has a "Game Mode" that turns off certain post processing functions to increase response time (I believe it is a 5ms response) and with that on, the lag is atrocious - you wouldn't believe it without that on. Even in Game Mode, it has more lag than if i turn off Game Mode in other games. Truly is a let down. As it turns out I have similar lag on other games (Mirrors Edge, Uncharted 2, Red Dead Redemption) but it isn't such a game breaker in those games because the don't require twitchy reactions, or quite as much target tracking. It could be that my processor is damaged (not 100% sure about this, but download games tend to have very... random frame rates. Someone at GameStop suggested that this might be the issue) but I don't think thats the cause as TONS of other players are experiencing the same lag. well have you played it scene the latest 2 patches because both of them addressed input lag and what ps3 are you using maby it's lag is worse on the older ps3 |
