I really thought Red Dead Redemption's online zombie mode was pretty well done. I also enjoyed playing what I did of it. The ending was amazing though. As for MAG I loved MAG, but the numbers are bad unless you play sabotage. Personally if you have about eight dollars to spare go pick it up again at GameStop.

Infact what are the numbers like anymore on MAG? Last time I was on they were bad enough sadly.

Probably nothing, still got MAG in mint condition but no will to play it.

Yeah the BF and CoD series are pretty much shovelware at this point. I don't know why they don't just call them BF 2012 or CoD 2012 at this point since they seem to release one a year now.

That actually sums up what I usually hear about Battlefield3 from most Battlefield veterans. I have not played since Battlefield2 to be honest. I wish I had gotten into atleast Battlefield: Bad Company2. I do hear nothing, but remarkable things though.

BF3 was a huge let down imo, I'm sure on PC it was great but after 100 hours of the console version it wore off quickly. Would have been so much better if consoles could support having as many people playing those maps as they were designed for. CS:GO looks excellent, can't wait for that. Wish more developers would basically remake some of the great older games, just give them better graphics but leave the excellent core gameplay that made them great.

Had some good times with old COD and socom, would be excellent to see them remade and not ruined.

Yeah I should have been more specific. BF games before BF3 = good, after = shovelware

hey BF3 isn't that bad, yeah it has some bugs but hey it's alot better than MW3 and the dlc is 15$ and it comes with maps, guns, vehicles and new game modes

Anyway I want to ask -- What are the numbers like for Battlefield: Bad Company2? I may try to pick it up for PlayStation3, or whatever. Maybe. (><)

how is it awful on the ps3 that's where i play and the only real problem i have occasional brief sound loss on Firestorm and Oman and that's it

what kind of t.v and video cables are you using. the first time i played on the ps3 i was using it with VGI cables and on an analog T.V (don't ask why) and i had horrible input lag, but i switched to a 1080p tv with a HDMI cable and i play flawlessly and they did have patches that took away input lag for some players

Just to add to it...

1. Now that people own servers the game is even more irritating, when I group up with my cousin and we join a clan server and we do well one of us almost always gets banned from the server out of nowhere. Great, giving people the ability to kick any challenge that comes so they can always be on the winning team and pad their stats.

2. It's a PC game ported to console, it was made with PC in mind, those maps were made for a bigger number of players than consoles can support. So with a lower player cap the game becomes even more extremely vehicle heavy. I can't imagine it being as bad on PC with higher player counts, that's a lot of potential engineers focusing on the same amount of tanks. I would expect it to be more focused on infantry play which is good imo.

I like vehicles in my shooters but I like the bulk of it to be infantry based, kind of like MAG.. it had some vehicles but it wasn't super vehicle heavy. A good mix.

3. The graphics are horrible imo, I don't understand why some people think it's amazing.. it's just blurry and gives me a headache.

Every time I start the game I feel like I'm going to have a seizure. Oh and lol at how long it took them to fix comms on PS3, by the time they finally did that I was burnt out on it. What developer screws up on comms and takes that long to fix after having so much hype? Such fail.

I expect bad company 3 (assuming they make it) will be much better than BF3 was.

well have you played it scene the latest 2 patches because both of them addressed input lag and what ps3 are you using maby it's lag is worse on the older ps3

Still. I have it sitting next to me as a sign of what Sony used to mean before it started to suck balls. I paid the full retail price, and ended up spending seven hundred on release. Took me a half a year to save up for that baby. Lasted me almost two years in, and when it died I managed to get a nice eighty gig from K-Mart. Which I still have actually. George Forman grills > Reboot PS3. I'm actually looking foward to the "true slim's" release though. They have sixteen gig model that is suppose to (by rumor) break the hundred dollar entry fee level!

I play this amazing concept called 'family life'.
Get to take my kids to the park, take my 2 yr old to guitar center and unleash him on the drums, teach him to play drums at home, watch my little pony with my 8 wk old daughter, spend 'quality' time with my wife (know what I'm saying?)
Take my 88 Camaro iroc to my buddies house and talk muscle, play my drums, play gigs.
But when the servers are up.......I'm a bachelor. I have no wife and kids, I can't play drums for $hit, my camaro turns into a ford contour and I turn into a spotty virgin with no life outside of new eden.

Funny, im on the oposite side of the spectrum, I want to play mag but my copy its too battered =v
