On a related note, how come everyone a with drug references in their name is either really good or just awful? I've never seen a merely average player with "420" in their handle.

The Devs had stated that the NPC corp that a player is sorted to is based on their region, so mine would be the Amarrian Imperial Guard.

In the universe of EVE, the Amarr enslaved (and still enslave a large portion of) the Minmatar. Therefore, why not a Minmatar slave conditioned and engineered (not to mention hooked on Vitoc) to be a obediant weapon against the enemies of the Amarr? (takes off roleplayer wizard hat)

ps. 'Vitoc' is one of those things that shows just why the Amarr are one of the 'villainous' factions of EVE: its a virus like toxin that never leaves your system, and kills you in excruiating agony unless you get a hit of the antidote on a regular basis. every clone has the virus before deployment, just in case he ever got out of control - and gives a reason to complete the mission because that is the only time, win or lose, when he gets the antidote.

Considering it was over 10 years ago, I can't really recall how I got my gaming name.

My PSN is CptKrby and I am a baseball fan who lives in Florida. Don't worry, I won't into the super long story for my PSN.

I figured that "CptKirby" would be a bit odd because of the thought I might get the title say "Private Cptkirby" or "Lt. CptKirby".

I wanted to keep "Kirby" as my last name so that part was easy. Since "Marlin" is a real first name and I am a Marlins fan (BTW their uniform looks like a ****** rainbow, I hate it), I thought it would fit.

Allow me to explain further.

I am BattleCry1791 on any game I play. I don't change it up. When I joined the PS3/PSN back in the day, there was nothing I wanted to use that didn't already exist.

For example, I used to go by Mackey or sometimes Stonewall back when PS2 IDs were game specific.

PSN is overloaded with Screen names. You can't make ANYTHING without a number or a symbol. Like XxBattleCryxX or II_BattleCry_II etc etc because all the simple forms of names on the PSN are taken.

Hope that explains that comment a bit better.

Oh you have no idea. Lately I've been playing a lot of Mass Effect 3 on PSN and I was marveling how many names contain numbers, etc...eventually, this issue will come to head.

For the record I think I got my PS3 two or so years after they came out, the newer users logging on have it exponentially worse.
