Use the militia swarm launcher. Or train forge gun operation to 1 and fit a forge gun to a milita heavy. |

Actually, no. Not at all. Dust is a part of the EVE universe which historically has a hardcore essense with a shade of butthurt lol. I cant speak for others, but i like this game for the potential depth, difficulty, and meta game i see in it. |

2 well-fitted Dropships usually means that I get 2 nice obvious targets to pour missiles into.
Even a Militia Scout build with a Militia Swarm Launcher can, at the very least, chase off those Dropships and remove them from the fight. |

I just found out it's a light. Now my face is all covered in yoke. Eew. |

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but here goes...
I agree with some of the comments, but you also have to consider the potential that there are some mechanics in the game that are simply "not right".
- Spawn Camping
I know some Teams deserve it, but at the end of the day if people are getting pummeled the moment that they are spawning then it kinda takes the point out of the game for that team. As things stand, some people are having to try and spawn through numerous volleys of rockets, and most of the time being on deaths door step before they can try and move to cover.
A possible solution is to have an "Emergency Spawn", where you can safely spawn, gather your bearings and prepare to defend yourself. Perhaps you can also include a 2x waiting time for the use of this spawn. Alternatively, the defences for the spawns should be re-constructed, in a way that it protects people when they initially spawn. perhaps a couple of light turrets that cannot be destroyed to help them fend off the aggressors (the person manning the turret should be targetable, like the turrets on the back of the LAVs).
- The "Tower Camp"
I'm personally 1 of the people who loathe this tactic, as (to me) it takes away the whole purpose of the Dropship. If it was supposed to be used as a personal (moveable) turret, then it would be named so.
A possible solution for this, is to have it so that the turret will only work if there is a pilot present and this it is at least floating. This I feel is one of the better ways of counteracting such a tactic, without the need to cripple the pilots whom use them legitimately (I salute those who do).
Having said that, I don't think there should be platforms that are at such altitudes that allow for this method of play... Keep them within range of the swarm rockets (to my understanding these are the AV weapon with the shortest range).
Edit - Swarm... Not Spawn ;P |

But yes, I found a way to equip a Light weapon on my Scout. I have an Assault Rifle build too. Scary, isn't it? |
