Lately paper has been exploiting a mechanic where it can fold into a paper plane and fly to the top of shelfs, and from there throw down rocks at helpless scissors.

I too have been noticing this. Paper is fine however. This thread is about nerfing Scissors, since scissors always beats paper for some odd reason. |

Devs do reply and have replied to feedback when they can confirm something. If a suggestion is made an individual dev can't decide on his or her lonesome to give you anything meaningful in reply unless it has already been discussed and decided on by the team at large. Why would a dev pop in and say that sounds like a great idea only to be supportive of a feature that perhaps can't or won't go in because it's not as simple as yes, we'll do that, it has to be discussed and considered by more than one dev? And simply posting in every suggestion thread that they are aware of the request and considering it seems kind of silly to expect.
The significance of the dev response is in effect evidence of how tiring EVERYONE asking for EVERYTHING to be nerfed can be and I believe appreciation from some of the devs that some of us actually empathize with that aspect of development.
Basically, if it isn't already apparent you're reading way too much into things. The devs are reading, are replying, just not to everything. There's a lot of internal processes that have to take place before official responses can happen.
And . . . rock is broken now. Fix it. It was fine the way it was.

Nerf nerf. Nerf can still hurt a little if thrown of swung with enough force. And if the developers allow that to happen I just don't see the vast majority of people sticking with nerf.
