I like to be able to heal my squad mates without the use of any moduals that just take up space and only sertain drop suites can carry!
Everybody should be able to revive there mates by just standing by them and pressing the x button or any button you choose to assign. they do that in GEARS OF WAR THREE you dont need any special needles or any other **** just STAND BY THEM AND HIT THE F BUTTON AND AWAY YOU BOTH GO!!!!!! |

I completely agree regards ability to heal squad mates. All & anyone should be able to stand beside a wounded team mate & heal them by pressing x for an allotted time. |

Not every suit is equipped for field nanite surgery.
It's hard. REALLY hard. That's why you need to fit your suit with Nanite Injectors, just assume that the syringe comes with the software needed to guide the nanites to fix up the bullet holes, laser burns, exploded limbs and other assorted damages your squishy clones get themselves into. |

If you want to resuscitate team members, equip a nano-injector. I don't because everyone just suicides instantly anyway. It will be better when we have real teams that know who is carrying a nano-injector and can wait a few seconds to be revived. |

I was about to relentlessly bash your suggestion because your item wouldn't take any suit space. Then I realized you're actually complaining about not enough people bothering to carry the revive tool. If it is to stay as-is, organized groups will make the best use of nanite injectors, and I recommend joining a squad the moment you get the chance.
If there absolutely has to be a replacement, I suggest a "tag for retrieval" device so salvage drones can pick up the assets immediately. If you tag a friendly like this, the drones return them to the player, and you get a few WP. If you tag an enemy before his buddy gets to him, the drones steal his loot for you! Both variations can behave like EVE looting, where items have a chance of being destroyed. End-of-match salvage and loot will NOT involve corpses retrieved in his fashion |

Also, indicators for both people who are carrying, and perhaps a skull icon slowly draining away for those who have fallen. |

No.
Nanite injector works just fine.
From a lore standpoint, "holding x" has absolutely no healing properties.
Also, it kinda stems specialization. |

This has been brought up before with some viable options brought up to fix it. If they were to show on the map where downed opponents were to the medics and where medics were to the downed merc nano-injectors will become more effective.

I completely disagree with the OP, but I agree with what he said here.
When the repair tools get back in, the nanites will not be needed. When someone dies while being actively repaired they will be unrevivable 90% of the time anyways. |

How to fix this:
Create a 5-second window after death where the player cannot suicide, allowing Logistics players to have a chance at reviving them.
Decrease the spawn timer by 5 seconds.
Boom; something gained, nothing lost. |

Have any of you played gears of war, you dont need a specialist on your squad because you all have the ability revive your mate. I dont want to have just one guy on my side that has the power to bring me back we all should be able to pick each other up.
Just put the red cross symble over the downed mate there would be a 10 sec window to get to him before he bleeds out hit the f button and up he goes. FK the nanite inj give us all the power to revive our team mates.!!! |

This simply won't happen, Jonluk. Making it a module means you need to sacrifice something for this ability. If everyone could revive anyone the pace of the game would become much more of a grind, and/or everyone should just shoot a 'downed' person to prevent them from being revived anyways.

It wouldtn realy grind anything beacuse you would only get him up once or twice just like in gears if he takes to much damage then his dead. Plus it would help with all this spawn camping thats going on gives us a chance to fight back im sick of dieing 2 sec after spawning. It wouldnt realy change the game at all you just wont need a Logistics person on hand to be there and from what i see so far everybody is in assult or heavy drop suits. Ive waited a long time for this game and tried to talk my boy and his friends to join up they ant having it. I let him play my beta because he is more into fps then me i cant stand fps im gears all the way the only real change in shooter games to come out in years. I want to be able to have execution moves where you rip there arms off and beat them with it, climb on there chest and punch there head in until it explodes now thats exhilerating. Running around and jumping and pew pew thats not fun, haveing a shotgun battle face to face thats gameing. CCP has one of the best if not the best game engines in UNREAL they should utilize them to there full extent. Ive been on EVE for 6 years and i like what CCP has done and are trying to do with DUST 514,but |

They can, you choose whether or not to have the equipment on you. And this is NOT Gears of War. This is DUST 514. You can get Militia Nanite Injectors in the market.
The whole thing about Dust is much the same as in Eve. Which is to say, that much like in life, not everyone is going to go out into the world or on the streets with a first aide kit or anything like that. You as a person making the choices of your character decides whether or not having the piece of equipment is worth the cost have having it for that "kinda situation."
It is a game about choice, and some are not easy. They are attempting to produce not just a game but another version of and extension to community.
Enjoy it for it's complexity, for variety is the spice of life and you always learn more from mistakes than you do from getting it right all the time, or taking the smooth path.

well to solve the problem either get raid of it or at less let us heal ourselfs if we are able to carry it wit us. i know if i carry one i would heal ppl but like you all said everyone just bleeds out and dont wait. i have one so i can heal near by allies but i cannt even heal myself since i have it on which i think it is pointless if i cant at less heal myself if im carrying it one me. agreed? |

I would understand keeping the medic if it it finally gets some love.
BF & Killzone have medics but at least there they can sue big HMG, can deploy mad packs, have drones that shoot for you, have healing aura and in Killzone revive is super fast and can be done at distance. Here medics have Nanite Injectors which are horrendous, there are no visual clues to help medics, and they can only use LAR or SMG which frankly are standard gear: nothing rewarding for playing a medic now. |

No. Dust 514 is leanient twoards speicalist not omni-gods if a fit is good in something its going to be weak somewhere else and always will be, you can try to compensate but you will never match two roles in one fit vs two suits overspecializing in that one role. |

Oh I would love to argue that I can possibly make a medic fit that isnt restricted to the Gallente AR or the Minmatar SMG. |

You do realize how stupid this sounds right? I always thought that was one of the most inane things in gears. Just because you helped me up doesn't mean I suddenly stopped bleeding. If I'm bleeding out enough that I can't get up, I need a field medic.
Now if you were suggesting something like allowing allied players to grab my bleeding body and drag it back to cover for medical support, we'd be having a different discussion. I for one, would like to see my idea implemented. A good number of times when someone dies, it's in a place that's very difficult for a medic to get to without getting gunned down. |

What I'm hearing is "I want Gears of War" when what I should be hearing is "not enough people are healing each other.
Part of the problem is the lack of experience/understanding by the playerbase.
Everyone suicides immediately when they go down, everyone KNOWS that everyone else will suicide as soon as they go down, and nobody can tell at a glance when a teammate is just down or when they're actually dead, and nobody can tell when a teammate nearby is able to revive them.
If an example has to be used, Gears is NOT the relevant example. Brink is (in spite of the MANY things it did HORRIBLY wrong).
When someone goes down, all Medics on that player's team have the downed player marked on the map as an objective, and the downed player has all medics shown on his/her screen as well. The downed player is able to quickly tell if help is on the way or not, and the healers can quickly see where they're needed.
Something similar in DUST would be nice.
Also, I'm a fan of the suggestion to force a 5 second delay before suiciding, and cut all respawn times by 5 seconds. That would also work nicely. |
