I wonder if Pokey would still be as active here if he was indeed elected as CPM. 
Being a CPM does seem to either burn a person out or possibly discourage them by finally letting them look behind the curtain. IDK for sure as I definitely wasn't even a potential candidate for CPM. I think that was for pissing the other CPMs off and continuously pointing out seeming missteps by CCP with DUST. Other than that, I wasn't really known because I am just a trouble making alt after all.

Oh. I almost nearly forgot my own answer.
For me, I most disliked Spero because he seemed to use CPM to his own benefit over using his position for the game's benefit.

Haha a fair point! I can imagine that being constantly pestered by players for information because CCP is rarely forthcoming with it, probably gets exhausting over time.
I know that even not being on CPM, it can become exhausting trying to deal with all of the swirling bitterness and anger in the community, so who knows how I would have fared compared to the others.
I think at the very least, while Biomassed is certainly not CCP exclusive, it does keep me engaged on some level since we force ourselves to do an episode every week no matter what (save our one episode post-christmas where we take a break)

I think some as at least a joke would have ran with the claim of being a CPM but I guess you have integrity (and you're very serious especially when it comes to your podcast  ).

We need to need a community position, trusted people, to talk to CCP about our ideas, so they don't get flushed.

The CPM who weeks in ADVANCE knew about Red Wedding and YET!! this same CPM creates a thread in GD promoting ticket sales to Fanfest!!

That was despicable.
I mean how hard was it for this CPM to instead refrain from posting anything as a warning to those considering going to red wedding?

IS SUPER SERIOUS BUSINESS
And for a while the running joke was that I was the 8th CPM member for all 3 council's. Sad part is that in many instances I did far more work than certain individuals who were on CPM, so any lingering confusion from others may actually be fairly justified.
In any case I'd still be interested in a real CPM position if they ever do something like that again, but I'll settle for the 8th seat a 4th time in a row if I must.

I would love to have seen Pokey and Ripley make the last CPM.

That happened to another merc too. It wasn't even a ban worthy offense, they were just thin skinned. That type of thing, IMO, should not be tolerated.
How can we be expected to have open and honest dialogue with CPM if they can pull strings so easily, exaggerating circumstances in order to ban people they don't agree with?

And faced the legal ramifications of violating a legally binding NDA? Sorry but no one is going to violate a contractual agreement so you don't get your feelings hurt over a video game patch not coming out.
