Well, you do realize that that's what they were told up until a couple weeks before the announcement right? Can't fault someone for reporting what they had been told by the devs as fact.

Haha a fair point! I can imagine that being constantly pestered by players for information because CCP is rarely forthcoming with it, probably gets exhausting over time.
I know that even not being on CPM, it can become exhausting trying to deal with all of the swirling bitterness and anger in the community, so who knows how I would have fared compared to the others.
I think at the very least, while Biomassed is certainly not CCP exclusive, it does keep me engaged on some level since we force ourselves to do an episode every week no matter what (save our one episode post-christmas where we take a break)

And for a while the running joke was that I was the 8th CPM member for all 3 council's. Sad part is that in many instances I did far more work than certain individuals who were on CPM, so any lingering confusion from others may actually be fairly justified.
In any case I'd still be interested in a real CPM position if they ever do something like that again, but I'll settle for the 8th seat a 4th time in a row if I must.

Theh could have said something those couple of weeks. They didnt coz cpm gets. Well you think what you want. Its not like its democracy just coz we voted for them to lie to us.
And faced the legal ramifications of violating a legally binding NDA? Sorry but no one is going to violate a contractual agreement so you don't get your feelings hurt over a video game patch not coming out.
