DUST Search - Boxes and opening them in a combo of ways to get Quafe BPO's

Well the fact you are opening something at all is a chance in its self, what I've found by my personal experience is you don't get the same thing for opening one at a time, and I hate to think that i had the same line of thinking awhile ago. As I have started a new way of thinking tho, the reward has been worth the simple patience to collect XX amount and find out who wrong I was. Take it for what its worth just trying to help here!

For the record, I do not put it past CCP for coding this part of the game in such a way as to change the probability if people open 10 at a time or in sets of 10, but then the statement that this is all pure chance becomes false. I would like to know who started the story that it was pure chance. It sounds like it's not.

If it comes in waves, the "waves" are generated by CCP. CCP controls all this, including and not limited to, whether or not it's pure chance as to what you get. If the chance of getting something good FROM ANY ONE BOX is increased by doing anything specific, then it's not chance.

I did 200 of them just as described. I got zero bpo from singles. I got yet another quafe RR from sets of ten. Opening more at once does not guarantee anything. It does improve your odds of goodness. @George. How many warbarge components did you gross? Any omega boosters?
