I've dealt with them semi easily... But in all seriousness... Even more Newbroes will quit because of the OP galass and the fact they do not know how to handle them... Making our player base even smaller...

No. It is fine.
The AR was underused. This change helps to fix things.
The Gallente Assault had a lackluster bonus. This change fixed things.
The fact that the Gallente Assault is the only assault to receive a direct DPS bonus to a weapon is utterly irrelevant. Outliers can be safely ignored.
The fact that the underperforming AR is still underperforming on every other suit is a non-issue. Working as intended. Everybody knows that buffing an underperforming weapon on one single suit addresses the weapon in and of itself. Buffing a suit = buffing a weapon. It is simple math.
Everything is fine.

I wish i could say something about how op it is but i have level five gal assults. Its so much fun. But since i run with only one kincat,two reactive and dual reps i only have maybe like 450-570 armour most of the bad gal assaults who are playing for the bonus that stack plates and have like 700-800 armour can usually beat me. With their breach assult rifles.... I love the duvolle so much but that sluuut creodron is calling my name.

It still sucks at range. And I still see tons of rail rifles being used. |

I hate to say it but GalAss is turning FOTM. The suit and weapon combination I have been running since Uprising 1.0 and even when Scouts were OP is now FOTM.
Most of these scrubs FOTMrs are armor tanking the **** out of their GalAss running around with Breach ARs.
The Forums are a special place.

I think a lot of people are trying it out because it was underperforming and underused before. Personally, I don't have proAssault yet or anything past AR V. I feel slightly more powerful, but I still get owned by ScR and RR variants plenty.
I think it'll even out. Or the major butt hurt is being felt by the guys who loved to stomp AR users all day, feeling like champs. Now they've got to work for it a little more and the sky is falling. |

Just nerf the BAR down to 50 BASIC - 55 PROTO, problem solved, move on to something else...... The BAR shouldn't have been so powerful in the first place, but the ROF bonus I feel, needs to stay, because we all know in the future, that mean's every other race is gonna get something good too (and Caldari need's their's changed from that recoil reduction, to a charge time reduction, period, that's the best way to address everyone else using the thing....)

If I remember correctly the Scrambler has been nerfed quite a lot. Most recent before this nerf was the mag nerf where it was 45 and was bumped down to the current 30. Many nerf were there before such as the damage, ROF,headshot multiplier.

Yes the breach. Every Try hard is running 3 complex dmg modded proficiency 5 warbarage lvl 5 try hard armor tanked gal assault fits that can melt even the most tanked of heavies in like 3 seconds.

108 mil life time SP and I can say it's pretty balanced and the suit along with the weapon is finally useful. Nerf it and no one will use it again because it won't be able to compete with the other suits out there.

If this isn't, yeah the BAR is used far more then any other AR. They just lack the punch and range. How many before this seen a Gall assault using an AR? Hardly, most used the RR or CR. Now for once a Gal using Gal weaponry and everyone is loosing their sh*t?

This person knows what's up.
The GalAssault might wreck in CQC but we are seriously limited in range.
An Amarr with a Scambler Rifle or a Caldari with a Rail Rifle can still be effective in CQC, but if a GalAssault tries to engage either of those two at 60 meters the GalAssault will not stand a chance. |

I just used my respec to get away from the GalAss and every other Gallente suit out there, save for the easy mode GalScout.
The suit is decent at best. It is not under nor overpowered as it still has many weaknesses. At distanced combat, it loses easily against rail and laser weaponry. At medium to close range, it loses to projectiles. In one on one engagements, a dual tanked MinAss will shred through a GalAss's main tank with little effort. At medium to longer ranges, Cal and AmAsses will always have the upperhand unless the GalAss can find some way to close distance.
In a game where effective range of weapons means everything, the GalAss will still be at a disadvantage in most scenarios. However, in enclosed areas where there is decent cover, the GalAss truly shines but then one would have to contend with the likes of Shotgun Scouts and HMG Heavies. |

I have all Assaults and I must say Gal assault is Not OP . For me is Gal Ass a CQC Suit . 40m+ and you lose the 1v1 fights against every other weapon .

Both weapons are better post buff but that Creodron definitely has the edge |

Because most people armor tank because armor is superior. Even Cal assaults are running 400hp of armor.

The mag size and hipfire accuracy were nerfed in recent hotfixes, before foxfour, if I remember correctly. Can't remember which hotfixes. |
