I realize that there are a number of potential paths to consider which range in quality from highly effective to might work to fantastically stupid. Hiding our eyes from symptoms with high hopes that doing so will resolve underlying issues ... that falls into the latter category.
There are smart options available to us. Why not consider them?

This "kid" realizes that there is a spectrum of options available which range in nature from highly effective to fantastically stupid. Hiding our eyes from symptoms with high hopes that doing so will resolve underlying issues ... with all due respect, I believe that one falls closer to latter category than the former. If there are smarter options available, why not consider them?
That's what we are all saying...consider all options.
The reality though is that both are really fast and simple (AKA very little development time needed) ways to fix the game. I am open to other options, but those two fix every issue except technical bugs. |

You play starter matches because you can't handle pubs. I play FW and PC. I might play a couple of matches in pubs, but always solo, so there is a zero percent chance that you saw me an academy match.
But on, how I am going to laugh my ass off when I log in a check your stats for the week, that you got farming in the academy.
If you don't have a phat K/D from taking your proto into the academy like a scrub, it will be so sad.

Umm, I hate to break this to you AGAIN, but you know people can fact check you right?
I am going to assume that instead of this week, where I have an 11 k/d and you a sterling .88, that you meant the week that we can't check anymore, which is of course very convenient for you, except that we can look at monthly and do some reasonable inference.
On the monthly numbers, you have a slightly higher than a 1 K/D, and a W/L of about even. I have a K/D over 7, and a W/L over 2.5. Keeping in mind that I play PC, and you play in the academy, that shows the difference in our play.
Now, I am sure that you have a laundry list of excuses for why your stats are horrible(proto stompers, squad stompers, Jesus doesn't love you, etc) but it doesn't matter when you can't even conduct a discussion without resorting to groos falsehoods and outright lies.
I pity you, that you need to go to such lengths to try and tear me down because you don't like it being pointed out to you that you suck as a player, and based on your need to lie over a game, a pretty meh person.
You can call me whatever you like, the FACT remains, I'm better than you. You could even run proto and I could run standard. Go put your isk to work and hire a corp to launch an attack for you, I know my corp would love to stand around and watch you get wrecked by an apex logi suit.

Just look at peoples lifetime versus recent.
If there is a huge gap up or down, they are fudging the numbers. My all time versus my monthly is pretty darn consistent. So unless the academy matches I am allegedly sneaking into have some old school, super high skilled players in them, I don't see how I wouldn't be doing much, much better.
Honestly, Barturd just can't fathom that people can actually do well in the game, without resorting to those tactics he accuses me off. He needs to get dragged into an academy match to go positive. So he assumes that everyone else does it as well. Kind of sad, but what pity I would have for him went out the window with the lying.

I don't know about that. Killboards promote all sorts of crap in eve so it isn't necessarily a solution.

Unless I am mistaken, I believe you have been playing this game long enough not to be joining matches against newberries. |

Most are against it, I got mobbed just mentioning it in-game 
The fact stands, the game is horribly balanced and I cannot see a way out, though Adipem makes sense regarding better rewards for newbies killing vets, I think it would help quite a bit, maybe it's overdue that suit types make direct impact on WP in battle. eg. Pro Ck.0, kills Basic C-I = 30wp, kills Adv C/1 = 40wp, kill an opposing Ck.0 = 50wp (20wp for mlt stomps)
Adding a reverse so a newbie gets more for killing pro, though I think whats important is reducing the reward for ez kills.
eg. YUUKI TERUMI stomping pubs, goes 25/4 chewing up starter fits mostly
compared to
Arirana stomping PC, goes 25/4 wrecking proto fits..
Bar payout - in terms of WP for kills they did the same..
but in reality Arirana puts in a performance where YUUKI just farms a pub
Shouldn't WP rewards reflect what you actually DID in battle???
- Allowing a stomper equal reward (WP/SP) for 1/10 the effort is messed up..
