They aren't really my standards so much as they are the tenets by which God expects us to live. In time everyone will be expected to live up to those ideals, its inevitable, the Amarr will make it so.

Back in the day, I was probably in about 5 PC's a day, 5 days a week minimum. From PC's inception to the infamous DNS 100% attempt. Then Fanfest and Scout 514 and uber heavy spam happened, and I didn't PC as much. The burn out was real. When vets ***** about the second job, we aren't kidding.
I started PC'ing again about 6 months back, but then little girl high school drama ended that pretty quick, as I have zero tolerance for that crap and even less desire to hop from corp to corp just to PC.
Haven't been in a PC since. Do I miss it? Sometimes. Often enough to put up with the BS? Nope.

Unfortunately the Dust gods have deemed only a **** hole in minmatar space to be worthy of ground based distribution. For the time one could settle for taking ground and space from the minmatar directly in the name of what is holy.
I have and still do wish to take on that pursuit in the name of the Empire but broken mechanics and a broken game has ended up pushing me away from both games for the most part.
FIX YAH GAME CCP.......

I think alot has to do with the fc, I've ran with guys that chill but are prepared and have had fun even in defeat. But you get those that are high strung before it starts and that just brings morale down and just makes for a frustrating time. I think there's to many of the latter and it just turns people off to pcs. I think this is suppose to be fun, I think the more people try and just have fun then more will be willing to partake. |

I think there should be additional perks to owning a district. Like some sort of ability to train teammates. Let district owners have the ability to jump on the owned district and actually show how to do things instead of just having to do it by word of mouth. Also maybe some way of setting up turrets and crus. Maybe something else but giving out perks would make people interested again. That's just my opinion. |

Blaziken - You are funny. The main problem with being an FC is that you have to saddle the blame for the losses, acknowledge your best players, and sometimes you have to be the Ahole who has to straighten people out (I have had to do that only a couple of times). If you have never had that issue, you aren't using randoms too often. A lot of us have to deal with that.
Being FC is also satisfying because you feel needed. You are in charge. The problem is that too often there is a power struggle between the FC and people who want to be in charge. Also the FC has to show up early and organize everyone, talk about a job!
I love FCing because I get respect as someone who can kill and still command. I respect other FCs because I know they can play the giant chess game. The problem is you are Cortana and everyone wants to be the Master Chief.
BTW - Booby Tuesday - I remember you. Yeah, you leashed me a lot back in the day. I am sending you an invite to a PC I run! Then you can enjoy sitting back and simply show off your skills.

In 2013 FW was competitive and people actually cared....... that ended with 1.7 and FW only went down hill from there.

If so, I never stated that it had value, I simply said that it "wasn't so much of a shithole" and " you need to be creative with what you're looking for"
Now, having cleared that up, IMHO, Molden Heath is worthless to a purely Dust corporation. However, if you're a hybrid alliance or corp and are looking for a nice home base for piracy. It is a middle ground between Empire and 0.0, I am sure that could create more value to the right people.
Only way it will ever mean anything real though is for Eve and Dust to be truly interdependent upon one another.

Or how about in the future (post port "hopefully") we open up all of New Eden and make two kinds of sovereignty, one is ground based and one is space based and you can only gain complete control of a system once those two are established.

There is some reasonable feedback amongst this, so I'll hope more gets added. Arirana's post on reducing lag, should be the first thing mercs do before starting PC . Keep the opinions relevant to our current Planetary Conquest set up. I'm hoping with Rattati throwing Zoolander gifs at people he may have took some notice of the topic here...
Regarding PC activity, on weekends I will be active and can be found at "DeadMansGame" channel.
I can give some input on PC and if I am free can help out with the battles themselves
