Well, I played 2 PC's against I think your team yesterday.
That were 4 and 5th my PC (not counting 2 no-shows) in my whole dust career (I have been playing for about 2 years now)
Ill just paste my report from them here:

played 2 PC yesterday.
what a fuckin waste of time.
First match lagged so match my bons was shooting as fast as a bolt pistol, frame drops everywhere.
Thought: "ohkay, lets try something else"
went to lowest resolution ,
deleted almost all fits (left 4),
deleted all emails, contacts,
left only 2 chat rooms,
turned voice chat off.
Result?
Horrible graphics, lag and frame rate drops.
So yeah, this game mode is so 1337 that you have to know where you will be ruberbanded when the next frame renders (and when does it really render)
Oh and good I have a maxed out running/hacking scout. Because minass with SSD can hack the point before I'm halfway to it..."
Also I ran a scout, as it's my favourite suit (have 3 of them to proto) I had to fill 3 of my 4 slots in a gal scout just to evade scans, which leaves me at HP = one PLC round splash damage. Minscout? pft, scanned all the damn time.
It's not that scouts are UP or whatever. I just want to point at the balance at "top tier" which is "use the most OP stuff and spam everything with explosive weapons". I don't want to be forced into playing "PC viable" roles, but I have to if I want to win.
As a sidenote, how raids are any different than PC's? it's the same thing... |

People bitched about port to PC (as a computer) because you apparently you need to buy all that additional stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the tips, but in no effin way I'm going to spend cash on new hardware and what not just to play a game that's on life support, that's just stupid.
As for fiber optic.. heh, somehow all the games play just fine, but dust needs a better connection? lol
EDIT: I haven't tried with trophies though, I'm turning it off right now to see how it works
EDIT2 : apparently my trophie settings have been always "OFF"... |
