Just asking... This WAS actually my first shooter. So when I learned of EVE Dust 514 first-person-shooter I thought maybe I had a shot to play with my friend Carl again. He moved away, I moved away...we're on opposite sides of the country now and I really wanted to play games with him because he is my real life friend. So I broke my rule about not playing games online....and I started playing Dust and EVE. So yes, this was my first, first person shooter experience and likely to be my last. I've just got other things going on man....a fiance, a stop motion project, a music project, work and a new hobby / future trade of learning to make knives from my Dad who is known knife maker Mark Kee from Kee Made Knives. So I just don't have any time for selfish, petty, greedy, shallow little sissies and people who seem to believe how well they do in the game validates their lack of awesomness in real life and makes it okay. o7 Don't quit Michael, i'm 34 and married also. I watch and listen to Corp battles and people don't seem to be having as much fun as I do when I play. So I don't join a Corp, too serious for me. I will def squad with you though, don't quit. I don't much like being on comms much because listening to people get overly frustrated while i'm playing sucks, but I will squad with you when i'm on :). Having wife and kids does make it difficult to play much less mic up! That's why my active times are unbalanced when I can get on. Just like Michael this is my first online FPS game! Seems like you have a lot on your shoulders Michael best of luck dude! Just hope you come around sometimes to squad with some of us!

Maybe even make a corp that is full of fun people. I know I am fairly skilled but I always try to laugh at something or be a joker because this is a game!
I have been through the rise and fall of so many games, I know that half the players on Dust just think they will be note worthy for 5 minutes in someone's life it would be great. Just ease up and be note worthy by being so cool even while losing. No one remembers good winners because there are so many. A good loser is something to see!

And that's fine -- I'm not judging or anything...Priorities in life change as you get older...I'm almost 40 (been gaming since 1980), and Dust 514 could very well be my last shooter since I have the twitch reflexes of a Water Buffalo now, lolz....Yeah, I still rage occasionally, and even though I'm barely average at the game I enjoy some friendly "you suck!" banter, but at the end of the day I know how to keep things in proper perspective with regard to what's going on in my life, and I know when it's time to walk away... Kudos for you having the maturity to recognize the same... |

Plus Michael Epic makes music and does youtube videos and he bought his house with his song that he put out and while we were living in Kentucky he was really big on the music scene there and there was an article in the local newspaper about him and he did CD signings all over Bowling Green and everything. I have been through the rise and fall of so many games, I know that half the players on Dust just think they will be note worthy for 5 minutes in someone's life it would be great. Just ease up and be note worthy by being so cool even while losing. No one remembers good winners because there are so many. A good loser is something to see! I am not racist.. Have not said one racist thing so I will forgive you for saying that since you are iliterate. And I don't know who you are talking too but the country I live in doesn't have an army.. Instead we have flowers and fight with love throwing our hugs and kissed at people. I got mad because you don't respect people who fight for your ability to be a mouthy little prick. Tall or not, I would stare you down till you felt like the little prick who comes here to trash talk people. You sh!t talk to people and get surprised when you are called out. Realize you came to a funeral for a player and said F this guy and all you people who will miss him then were surprised we raised our voices. The internet's ambiguity is no excuse for a lack of respect. Take this as a learning moment and step away from the keyboard until you have cooled your head.
I find this soooo entertaining that I actually read and reply to all of this on my phone while I'm at school and work. And are you going to be one of those people who tries to find where I live so you can beat me up.. You won't do it.. And I respect people who fight for MY country. Other ones I am still on the fence about. Also while you may think I am 'surprised' about people voicing, but I am really not surprised at all. If I didn't think this was going to happen do you think I would have said anything at all? Are you not aware how I am dragging this all out of you? It amazes me how easy it is to get people all worked up over nothing and that is exactly what is wrong with society and people today. Everyone is too sensitive. Ya'll should grow a pair and never let comments affect you. It is just words. But I mean if words affect you this much than you should not play video games, work, interact with anyone really because someone is going to say something hurtful to you and if you cry like a little btch everytime than how will you ever get through life as the world goes into more and more choas.. Go sit in the corner and think what it means to "man up" and not care what people think or say.. Until than though, like I have said in a previous post, I will continue to sit back and read all your comments and laugh.. I am a heartless S. O. B

That is a huge bank robbery Spartan received! lol joking but Dreis I highly doubt you on the poor side just may not have as much as Spartan does! I have never gotten over 20 mil Isk but that was close just once and didn't last long!
