First and foremost...I'd like to bid all of you farewell because I have decided to retire my EVE character and my Dust 514 merc permanently. I won't be coming back, period. I'm done. Its actually not the game that has driven me out, but the player base.
Almost all of you are selfish, greedy and petty. Worry about your KDR and what others think of you and get off on being the biggest buttholes you can possibly be because you literally have nothing else in your life besides Dust 514 and your KDR.
zDemoncake is the most selfish one of all...don't join Horizons' Edge, that guy doesn't care about his own corp and in my opinion he can eat a big bowl of those short stubby things you see when you look down.
Yeah, I know you don't care and if not then this thread is not for you. Its for all the people out there that know me and played with me and will wonder where I am.

I came in, brought all my friends and recruited a ton of members for Horizons' Edge and had you not been such a selfish little prick, Horizons' Edge could have been something great.
You get your little hashtags and think you're super clever. Is mama standing behind you clapping? Is your girlfriend cuddling up at night and telling you that your hashtags get her excited?
No, they don't. I loaned HXE members isk, made sure they had fittings for PC, messaged people to make sure their wallets were good...go ask Panthrax about the 50 million ISK I sent him or Denesian about the skins and apex suits I gave him. Go ask HXE members who did more for them...you or me.

This WAS actually my first shooter.
You see....I had never played online games because people were kind of douchey about it, plus I'm like 31 years old so I grew up in the 90's and we didn't have online gaming and stuff real big around where I was. Hell, I remember dial up internet and thinking I was so cool because I was downloading the first mp3's in existence!
I came to EVE/Dust because of Spartan Princess who surprised me by posting in this thread. He's super busy with his life and his wife and his kids and I didn't expect to see him posting in here in defense of me. Spartan (Carl) played EVE when it was in its infancy around 2004-2006 or so. I watched him play because he had a big projector screen in his tiny little house and it was really awesome.
So when I learned of EVE Dust 514 first-person-shooter I thought maybe I had a shot to play with my friend Carl again. He moved away, I moved away...we're on opposite sides of the country now and I really wanted to play games with him because he is my real life friend.
So I broke my rule about not playing games online....and I started playing Dust and EVE. So yes, this was my first, first person shooter experience and likely to be my last.
I've just got other things going on man....a fiance, a stop motion project, a music project, work and a new hobby / future trade of learning to make knives from my Dad who is known knife maker Mark Kee from Kee Made Knives.
So I just don't have any time for selfish, petty, greedy, shallow little sissies and people who seem to believe how well they do in the game validates their lack of awesomness in real life and makes it okay.

Spartan Princess could literally snap your neck before you even saw or heard him. He's real life bad mama jamma. He's one of those people you see and think "I could totally kick his ass" except you can't and he could kill you before you had time to react.
You say you're not from the USA and warmongering and isn't it ironic that your **** poor attitude and people like you that also are infinitely stupid and want to run their mouths and prove how tough they are is pretty much the whole reason war exists. Its people choosing to not get along.

Its you and people like you why the Dust 514 community is in the toilet. You brag to us how you find everything so entertaining and what does that say about you? The reality that you get you jollies laughing at others shows just how little of a man you are.
Your opinion that people should not be so sensitive and man up and not let words bother them is from a place of ignorance within yourself. All we have in life are words and body language. Think back to your formative years when that one girl you really liked would have nothing to do with you. Her body language hurt, her words hurt and her overall lack of interest hurt. Imagine an application you've put in to a business you really wanted to work at and the managers hollow words bummed you out, body language was off putting and you didn't have a good feeling you would get that job.
You don't seem to understand life and I partly blame your parents for not teaching you better and yourself for choosing the easier, less hard work intensive path of being a d!ckwad instead of someone who is polite and respectable and uplifts other people.
My discourse on this should make you have a feeling in the pit of your stomach because in this life, all we have are each other. You may not understand that but I am just as important to you as you are to me. Are we friends? No. Are we family? No. Will we be getting each other a birthday gift? No.
But in the rollercoaster that is life, you are part of my day and I am now part of yours as you read this. These instances make your life.
Remove me from the equation and examine what else you would be doing now. Who produced or made capable what you would be doing without me and without you reading this passage right now? What if that person was gone? What would you be doing then?
As you strip away each and every person and their contribution to your life, you find that without other people you would be nothing and lonely and probably on the brink of insanity. So people are important to you...and you are in dire need of them same as I and same as everyone else.
So to be a real "man" and really "man-up" is to take the scarier route and just be nice to people dude. A real man doesn't feel the need to put others down in order to make himself feel big and feel confident and in the end...you are acting like a child and treating others to your ignorance.
I'll pray for you, my foreign friend. I'll hope for you. I'll have faith for you and when you get older and you're having this conversation with your son, your nephews or some guy on a forum board for a video game....I hope you'll remember this discourse I have written you today and you'll see the error that was your way.
I'm not going to be brash and insult you and tell you to man up and be a real man...but it might behoove you to Google what it takes to be a real alpha male and/or look at examples of great men around you and in your life that can carry the torch for you and be a good role model.

If you ever had the chance to know him you would be just as upset at his leaving the game as I am. The man had nothing but KIND WORDS and ENCOURAGEMENT to say and would go out of his way to let you know. He always added to the enjoyment of the game and made you feel better as an actual person, which transcends this silly little game we play.
He's a no BS kind of guy which I greatly respect. He lives his life to the fullest, which I greatly admire.
I was upset when he and zD had a falling out and hoped that somehow things would blow over and he would come back to the fold, but I guess that isn't meant to be.
With Michael Epic's departure, this game is losing one of its best.

Your kind words are appreciated. You were always my favorite Horizons' Edge guy....no doubt about it. I didn't want things to work out how they did but zD just pissed me off to the point I couldn't take it.
Yes, this is just a video game but real life is real life. You like me and look forward to playing with me same as I like you and look forward to playing with you and that happens in real life because a real part of the day, 15 minutes to an hour is where that really happens.
So his lack of loyalty and his lack of concern for you, me and others just drove me mad and I wanted to make my own corp and then in the clutch I decided to hell with all of this and I'm just done. I can't take this starting over crap anymore....I started over from UMICS (corp leaders fault), I started over from The Neutral Zone (CCP's fault), I started over from Horizons' Edge and just felt so damn sad I just decided I'm not going to do it anymore.
I'm tired dude....just don't have the energy for it anymore.
