I never saw the negative thing removed but I never play against my factions so I do not know. If it was removed that definitely needs to be brought back and possibly made even more harsh. I can vouch that level 10 standings are a bit crazy. I have had Amarr at level 10 for quite some time and can honestly say that was the biggest grind in Dust. Assuming you do not ever get kicked it takes roughly 621 WINS to achieve level 10. At an average of 18 minutes per battle that is 186.3 hours just in wins. Depending on your faction of choice and how much you work with squads or queue syncs that can easily be multiplied by any number. I think this is very well deserving of a special reward much better than a roughly 7% pay increase per match. As far as what that reward should be, I think access to purchase officer weapons from that faction is my favorite idea. These would obviously come at a huge LP cost along with only unlocking at level 10. I think it is only fitting that the highest ranking members of said faction would have access to the highest level weapons of that faction. It really ties in nicely instead of just being a generic "here's another suit / skin". Considering the only source of officer weapons now is pretty much strongboxes that would also offset a little bit of the p2w feel that is only growing as of late. I think we have a glut of officer weps already due to anyone with extra isk bought them all (pc corps that have huge amounts of isk) .. Maybe a proto suit? Think of the skin and the recognition in game of what that suit means.. Talk about Pay to win.. This would make a few players very rich at the cost of unlimited officer weps being sold to protostompers.. There is already unlimited officer weapons sold to proto stompers by way of people dumping $$$ in the game and that does not even require any grind. Also they would not be unlimited because as I noted they would still come at a high LP cost. How would giving people the option to buy 1 officer weapon of a specific type after 1 win be more OP than giving out a fully fitted free advance suit? If we are not going to get any actual benefit from having level 10 then we may as well just have the option to replace our LR with our FW standings.
I don't hate your idea, but a bpo suit with a sic skin is a better idea.. And ANY additional officer weps ending up in the hands of protostompers is a bad thing.. Not to mention it adversely affects balance of dust In general.. What you are suggesting will make a bad problem worse.. |

I think perhaps a unique skin at lvl 5 an lvl 10 might be a cool if insubstantial reward, but only really rewards grinders
I'd like to see a pledge/register for faction idea implemented and more specialist items in the fw stores
And of course strategic deployment, aka choosing where to fight

Try to deny, but ur being quite vocal after only suffering grievous losses, other than sqd deploy there's been no other real reason y ur suddenly concerned
Yeah more incentives for fw would be great, but the mode is hardly "broken"

As for the pro/anti grind, I try to keep in mind that fw is about all players an not just those doing 1 faction fw every session so putting in endgame goals isn't going to appeal to everyone, I'm ok with grinding personally, just hit cal 9 and am rarely seen outside of CFW for a long time

The real problems in FW ... are:
Lag in a few maps. (Rattati is working on this !)
People Quiting after see a strong enemy and... just search "easy battles"
Random Berries... Sometimes you go 8 squad members... and 8 randomberies VS 16 Full Corp (needs to be locket the access until you got almost 10,000,000 SP...)
The reward if you loose... (it's ok... don't give me points to the faction... but give me at last 25% or 30% of the LP... If my level is level 7... and I get 1,650 LP for a win... give me 412 LP if I loose.. not 330 (20%)....

Sincerely Smoky, you had this coming a mile away, every time GFW won, it was always a stomp. Constantly, a stomp. How can you say that this isn't revenge for all the crap you put CFW player's through? Those who, clearly, were loyalist's, those who grinded just as hard, if not harder, just to win a battle.
If you can't stand or can't put up with it, fine, but this was bound to happen, with GFW winning constantly, non stop.

I'm done with dust until I see this happen.. It's impossible to find an evenly matched battle ATM. The people who used to be die hard loyalists have all quit in disgust. I really don't care I'm going to be playing the Division exclusively the second its released. Done wasting my life fighting the over 90% scr bolt pistol punks that run dust... 1. Doable, though no one would care.
2.Sure handsome reward, It's already made to be between basic and adv, unless you want them buffed to be the same as adv, then, YES PLEASE. No please to increase LP or ISK, caldari suit's are only their best at Proto level, due to CPU and PG. Only having 1 suit at a time? Like only 1 account having 1 suit? What's the point, its not like we have A.I. walking around with our suit, smashing you down. And it won't change one sided qsync's as they'd still be proto stomps.
3.Player base, if you need to win so badly, side up with Nyain Clan, or anyone from Phoenix Federation.
Once more, enjoy playing Division, you're not getting your way, and it won't benefit anyone, since most player's aren't gonna care for FW in the first place, remember, it doesn't give real money or isk .

And furthermore I don't really accept that GFW was ever EZ mode..it was simply solos vs solos until STF started syncing and Kirk came around and organized a sync in response.. Hell I didn't even join the gal channel until STF started syncing .. I'm not the one chump

I'm done with dust until I see this happen.. It's impossible to find an evenly matched battle ATM. The people who used to be die hard loyalists have all quit in disgust.
