Hey guys,
As youGÇÖre all aware, Tranquility is still offline after todayGÇÖs scheduled daily downtime.
This is due to an issue with a code deployment today while patching for a few fixes in EVE Online. The issue caused the cluster to fail to start up correctly, and as such, Tranquility is currently unavailable for play for both EVE and DUST.
Our operations and development team are working on this issue as we speak, and weGÇÖre hoping to have Tranquility back online for you guys as soon as possible.
Right now, we donGÇÖt have an ETA for when the cluster will be back online and accepting connections, but weGÇÖll keep you updated in this thread.

Lost 2 hours+ on my tripple stacked FW booster so far. I wished that as long the server is down the time on the boosters would just stop ticking down.

That would be a cool idea.
I imagine some problems in implementing that, but nothing unsurmountable.
PS: I too have 2x triple stacked FW boosters running out (in addition to normal boosters ofc)

We should get compensated for our boosters. Like a 1 day booster if we had boosters active. Either way, keep up with the maintenance and work on the lag in Factional Warefare if you can. Nevertheless, fix these issues. I await my compensation.

If there are a few hiccups along the way because you guys are constantly giving us updates and building the game into something even more fun/frustrating (even when I get proto-stomped I still enjoy the competition), well, the hiccups always pass. I was send about 6 diffrent tickes (in past half year), no one ansfered.
When i was play in closed beta, this problem no exist. My evry ticket (bug/help) have ansfer in about 12h.

I'll be honest, I got on, saw the server was down was very confused and looked at the clock. Now this is where I REALLY open my eyes and wake the hell up. I grab my fone thinking my clock was wrong and maybe it was a lil past 6am but SUPER sunny out lol.. when I realized it really was 11:30 am my first thought was, "Oh no, they finally did it. They shut down the game with no warning. All them hundreds and hundreds of dollars thrown into the game just wasted and--" by here I had been on the forums and read the server was down due to a "cluster" so.. whatever that means... I'm cool with it. The game's still here, you can shut it down for a week, gimme a 7day omega and call it fair:)
Been fighting this war since beta. When can I go home and see my family again? Will I survive this brutality? :)

Exactly. While unfortunate and annoying, bad things happen from time to time. IT may not even BE the EVE update itself that's at fault, but something else. IIRC in the past it has turned out to be anything from a database configuration issue to hardware problems, neither are easy to diagnose. |

This is due to an issue with a code deployment today while patching for a few fixes in EVE Online. The issue caused the cluster to fail to start up correctly, and as such, Tranquility is currently unavailable for play for both EVE and DUST.
Our operations and development team are working on this issue as we speak, and weGÇÖre hoping to have Tranquility back online for you guys as soon as possible.

Exactly. At least the active expenses such as the boosters. Passive boosters still earn SP even now.
As for reimbursement for the downtime itself, at most I'd say CCP should consider for instance 10 Decrypter Keys. That'll be a fine compromise as they gain value for the players, while not really costing CCP anything, not even in lost sales of these as those who buy decryptor keys will continue to do so, and those of us who grind for them will just be happy at getting to open another 10 of our thousand+ boxes. :P

Academy now gaining new members fast and have good supply of CP (I joined one day before update, and at third day our CP reserves were maxed), so there's no reason to not play PC. |

Gotta say, I agree with this wholeheartedly... Last unexpected downtime I had a seven day active going (as I do now.... ) and sent a ticket in to CCP and they told me this: "Thank you for contacting customer support. We are sorry for this but unfortunately we will not be able to provide any compensation regarding unexpected downtime regarding the use of such boosters."
That is not how you deal with customers man, and it is severely unfair.

I know why all this happened.... Tranquility was tired of lag in certain maps, so he decided to turn off and relax for one day and eliminate lag from Dust 514.... That's because tranquility loves us and want to see happy players all around the world....

This is due to an issue with a code deployment today while patching for a few fixes in EVE Online. The issue caused the cluster to fail to start up correctly, and as such, Tranquility is currently unavailable for play for both EVE and DUST.
Our operations and development team are working on this issue as we speak, and weGÇÖre hoping to have Tranquility back online for you guys as soon as possible.

I concern not about the well being of noobs anymore for they are the only kills I get. This last update, unfortunately, is the greatest thing to ever happen to F.N.G.'s because a few extra militia plates can help them survive a bit longer to steal a kill. Tranquility noticed the increases in my kill-assist-to-death ratio and is complaining for me.
But, I bet this rings true for all mercs: we will gladly lose our consecutive logins and bonuses, and take a day or two off if the devs will fix the lag while they're at it. I'll buy the beer if they do. If I can get a month of no lag, I'll buy 2oo,ooo aurum.

As youGÇÖre all aware, Tranquility is still offline after todayGÇÖs scheduled daily downtime.
This is due to an issue with a code deployment today while patching for a few fixes in EVE Online. The issue caused the cluster to fail to start up correctly, and as such, Tranquility is currently unavailable for play for both EVE and DUST.
Our operations and development team are working on this issue as we speak, and weGÇÖre hoping to have Tranquility back online for you guys as soon as possible.
Right now, we donGÇÖt have an ETA for when the cluster will be back online and accepting connections, but weGÇÖll keep you updated in this thread.

As youGÇÖre all aware, Tranquility is still offline after todayGÇÖs scheduled daily downtime.
This is due to an issue with a code deployment today while patching for a few fixes in EVE Online. The issue caused the cluster to fail to start up correctly, and as such, Tranquility is currently unavailable for play for both EVE and DUST.
Our operations and development team are working on this issue as we speak, and weGÇÖre hoping to have Tranquility back online for you guys as soon as possible.
Right now, we donGÇÖt have an ETA for when the cluster will be back online and accepting connections, but weGÇÖll keep you updated in this thread.

I too was told in my ticket to "watch this thread" with regards to compensation for the unscheduled downtime.
What is taking so long CCP? Eve pilots received their compensation a week ago and it was their game update that caused the issue! |
