As for reimbursement for the downtime itself, at most I'd say CCP should consider for instance 10 Decrypter Keys. That'll be a fine compromise as they gain value for the players, while not really costing CCP anything, not even in lost sales of these as those who buy decryptor keys will continue to do so, and those of us who grind for them will just be happy at getting to open another 10 of our thousand+ boxes. :P
