Honestly, the scrambler is way out of line. Look at the post earlier about the damage vs overheat. I find I funny that everyone blames the weapon for it performance . I'll agrree the scrambler rifle is OP against caldari but nothing more. The ammar assault bonus is what gives it, its extra shots it can fire off before overheating . But yet no one seems to complain that the min assault bonus gives you 20 more in the clip for the assault combat rifle That is exactly why I specced out of min Assault. I felt it was too FOTM and no one complained about it because they all used it.
I believe that to be the exact reason why everyone complains about it . The scrambled rifle is the best and fastest weapon for dealing with min assault (as they are half shield and half Amor). Where as the assault rifle you just don't have time to put him/her into the ground

So many people are talking about a scrambler rifle nerf....
I'm on the fence personally. Please consider one thing however : This weapon on non bonused suits, it's not all that common is it. Would a nerf not just make it so the scramblers can only be effective on Amarr suits?
This seems counter productive.
I will say that scram shield damage is too much in my opinion but that could be tweaked down quite easily.

Yes I have.
There's a variety of ways we could go about balancing it. I'd like the gun to still function the same, and be just as effective, but require much more skill to use properly. Here are the ideas I like:
ScR:
- Use more ammo for charged shots
- Build up heat while holding a charge shot
- Short delay after firing a charged shot (.5 second tops.)
AscR:
- Needs to build up heat faster. Right now you can fire about 80% of your clip continuously before you over heat. Perhaps 60-70% would work?
