I recommend skilling into the PLC, AR, and Shotgun all at once and having several different kinds of fits. On your shotgun fits you want to have at least one complex kincat, if not two along with either a complex rep or a cardiac reg if you don't care about reps. For your all purpose fit you might want to have your AR of choice along with a PLC for anti-tank work/skillshots on infantry. You want to have two reps in your lows along with 1 complex armor plate. And most of all you want to stick with a squad at all times. A commando is a force multiplier, it does well in a group of people but going solo is harder to manage. The reason for this is its slow speed and big hitbox. For Gallente Commando have 3-4 different variations of fittings: PLC+AR Shotgun+AR Breach Shotgun+Regular Shotgun You forgot Breach AR+Burst AR...

I used to run both with heavy biotics for fun punchies, but now only do that on a minmatar MD suit for the lulz. My other min suits are shild tanked with rifles, and one kincat. My gals though are my babies. My Thor(mk2) suit is an adv suit with dual enhanced DMg mods, a kla plc, and a gek38 with adv armor plates and reps, a cpu upgrade, and a compact hive. My buccaneers(mk2, and3) are essentially the same with the only difference is that the mk3 uses proto weapons(those weapons being a spec. Shotgun, and breach assault rifle. The mk2 runs adv) they also run enhanced damage mods(makes the shotguns have a much better effective range, and will ruin a scouts day) double stacked enhanced armor plates and a single enhanced rep. The mk2 also has drop uplinks...yarr matey gotta bring in the crew sometimes... And finally my dervishmk2 has a gk-13 burst ar, a gek 38, double enhanced DMg mods, double enhanced armor plates, a single enhanced rep, and a needle. For good measure. All min skins wear quafe(I call my jumpy one the one eyed flying purple people eaterlol) and my gals wear roden. you ever get to that point where you know you should sleep, but ya just...dont? yeah...me too.

Tora Kiri G.L.O.R.Y 4	Posted - 2015.11.02 16:07:00 - [217] - Quote i got 66 mill sp and My amarr commando is my main suite, i got many fits like viziam and shotty with kincats and mayo, lazer and assault massdriver but my main fit is viziam an assault massdriver with 2 complex dmg mod with 1070 hp and k17 nano, that load out rapes. Since the heat build up nerft still do pretty well i over heat alot more the amar commando strength is its dps ability take alot of hits dish out a lot of damage combine with the correct weapon its amazing, it is still the best slaying commando i have win many head to head battle vs other commando racess with an advance load out. what i would like to see is a new weapon for amarr commando ilike a av lazer like the one from halo lol, but the scrambler rifle is still better to me on the commando than amarr assault cause of racial damage bonus. For example with 15 % proficiency, 10% racial bonus and 13 % dmg mod (2 complex) thats 38 percent damage= 126 on shields with 1070 hp. Assault with 3 complex dmg mod 17%, 15% proficiency thats 32% dmg = to 116 on shields with 795 hp. Amarr assault= 116 on shields with 795 hp. the assult will have a higher out put and could engage multiple enemy Amarr commando=126 on shields with 1070 hp. the commando will straight out dps one on one, x factor another light weapon this to me shows the commando is very good still with the scrams. the suits still need a to have some other bonus to be able to stand apart from an assult.

What I really would like to see after the swarm bonus loss, is a valid min AV weapon. Since the Breach MD is the most likely candidate, what is needed for it to excel in this situation? I say bring the fire rate to standard MD level. This would solve two problems 1. right now, you can't use it as a breach tool, since you get killed by everybody after the first if not the second shot in case you try to actually "breach" dug in heavies... 2. The direct hit dps with the current firerate is practically the dps of the standard variants! So why use it at all? The standard causes more disorientation and mayhem than the breach, so it's just better. 3. For AV purposes, the breach would be also usable, as long as you hit the HAV in the weak spot you'd have considerable damage applied to them. The knockback effect to derpships could be increased (similar to that of forges) So that if not damaged alot, they would at least be pushed away further, to avoid some of the shells. Since the Breach MD has a smaller splash radius, it would still not be op, and if necessary, the splash damage could be reduced to compensate. Please consider these changes, since right now we need more AV options in the field... Cheers

This is what I've come up with after playing the Minmando for a few weeks. A single kinkat has kept me alive on numerous occasions. Outside of that use shield and damage mods to your preference. Equip is almost always a hive, especially if you use a mass driver. Most of the time I run ACR/CR and MD. MD is situational and best at area denial, but it is a handy cleanup tool that shouldn't be forgotten. For AV: run swarms and ACR/CR. You don't get the bonus but you can still provide area denial. Use proxies if you can make them count, otherwise stick to a hive and keep swarming. [#makeDustwheelchairaccessible]
