Security measures have been made to ensure (as much as possible) that each voter only votes once, so please look over all submissions closely and carefully for voting. This poll will run until 11:00 UTC - Thursday, June 4th. Looking at the voter data they used the same exact client/session to vote 15 times and just used a proxy to change their IP Address in an attempt to fool the system. So, not going to disqualify them, but I am going to be deleting the suspicious votes. Good call. Better to punish fishy votes than to punish the person or item the votes are aiming for. The common thing I see people do upon running into a situation like this is assume that the person receiving the fishy votes is committing fraud. But as Jadek pointed out, this runs into a Catch-22 situation. If the person receiving the fishy votes is actually not the fraud but it's someone else who is participating, then disqualifying the person on the ballot in an attempt to prevent a fraud from succeeding could potentially lead to a fraud succeeding. The best way to avoid getting into this situation in the first place is to disqualify the fishy votes rather than the person receiving them. Just disappointed that something that looks like an angsty teen made it won out over the other designs. Though I guess I like the more simplistic designs. The Standard/Advanced Amarr Sentinel is by far my favorite dropsuit. The green and silver is just glorious. It doesn't try hard to look flashy and it still comes out as impressive. If only the Proto looked like it, too, I would start putting points into it. Actually go back to my Amarr roots. God I hope they let us buy default dropsuit skins someday. I'd pay for that skin.

It was just a for fun little story-telling bit to give a little more background to the event itself. It wasn't meant to be taken literally so it is not that I retracted my earlier statement so much as a misunderstanding. I'll try to make that more clear in the next event.
