I can, however, relate my experiences as aspectator and from what I've seen, there is nothing special about them. They're just like any other suit. The only notable difference is that they're quite popular and a good majority of players use them.

I'm not sure about being faster than the min scout but the min assault at base is the fastest suit, heck it's faster that the ******* amarr scout for reasons beyond me. Now besides having scout speed at base it can dual tank. Now I know what you're thinking "but Georgia! the Gal assault can also dual tank AND have better reps!" And you're correct BUT in this game speed tanking is most viable apparently and the min assault has a fairly huge stamina pool second only to the amarr but has the highest stamina regen, so you're basically a speedy dual tanker that can run right after such a brief break. Also it is only barely quicker than the amarr scout but with a larger hit box and no free ewar bonuses. Actually, I can almost always tell just by looking at HP values AM,CAL,GAL assaults what they have fitted. When I see a Min Assault. So now your thing is garnering attention as FoTM like a lot of other things before it and you want to preserve it. Nay I say. NAY! You shall not be allowed to. NERF I WANT NERFS BECUZ THINGS AND STUFF AND NUMBERS! I don't think it's OP but it does have a lot of great attributes. It regens stamina a little too quickly though and frankly was not deserving of a buff to that attribute (though that's mainly a scout issue not an assault issue). It's rifle is also very competitive at short to mid range to the point where it over performs but can still fly beneath that radar. It's the Rifter of Dust plain and simple. Cheap, adaptable, a little squishy, but ******* wrecks your face if you let it get close......and it will get close. Gallente and Amarr can brick tank = I don't have a problem. While the Minmatar get speed and I bet 9 out of 10 Minmatar players spec into those kin kats and cardiac. Don't lecture me on that because I know for a fact that the players treat the assault Min as some type of hybrid that can strafe, run away like a ***, put RE's, and can balance both shields and armor.
