Maybe being grateful and thankful that new things have been added might get you a little closer than bitching all night.

I havent sayd that i dont appreaciate it. I find it suspicious that issues that are known since the 13th of march hasnt beeing adressed. Though here we are and i have to act as the Villain to Ratatti yet again. A "few" minor problems? Yeah sure lets throw a small turret into the garbage can together with SHAV's. Then we ignore that ADV nanohives are better then proto cause you can carry more of them and alot of other stuff.
I see the things how they are, not how they could be. And if i dont see results i like to poke the Devs with a stick, if that doesnt work i sharpen the tip of the stick and try it again.

I am curious about how skins will be handled in regards to non-BPOs that possess special colors. Will the special colors of such suits be removed, and then sold as skins? and would owners of such suits get skins for free, or will they also have to repurchase them?
Are Templar BPOs going to b de-skinned?
How about Quafe ones? (I hope so honestly, because the color is very ill-fitting for my Min assault).
I want to buy a Kaalakiota skin for my Quafe Caldari scout, but the dev blog only mentioned skins for prototype suits. Will lower tier suits have skin options?

The fitting UI update is sexy as hell. SO much easier to deal with when you have a ton of modules and suits you have to scroll through every time you make a fit.

If you're talking about balance issues, those are exclusive to hotfixes, not client updates.
Hotfixes = Balance Changes
Patches = New Features

It is. I had hoped to get a hotfix tweak in before launch, but we will need to wait a little. It's been hectic getting this release out and also laying the groundwork for PC 2.0.

You don't need a patch for that. That's what hotfixes are for.

Overall I'm impressed with this dev blog.
But there is a 'but' somewhere in there.
I am not ungrateful. That much is certain. I'm happy to even see Dust progressing along this far despite it being regarded as a dead game.
I'm just a little bummed out that we don't see any new serious content outside what the SKINS offer. I would like to see an improvement to the personal warbarge, a way for a player to move from one system to other, a better connection to Eve Online, that kind of stuff.
But it's such a shame that I probably won't be seeing any of that for a long time. I sure hope this new patch helps with bringing in new players and maintain a better retention rate than before. One can only hope that would be enough to convince CEO Hilmar to devote some more resources to Dust.

Farming or not, there was a reason to play PC before the ninja update the other night. They should not have made the change they did without making the other changes at the same time.
