My wife is 51, but she was 49 when she stopped playing DUST 514 (which still beats everyone posting here so far).
I was born the year John F. Kennedy was inaugurated 35th President of the US, which is also the same year the current US President was born.
It was also the year that NASA started projects Gemini and Apollo and the USSR launched Yuri Gagarin into space.
This year - 2015 - I'll be 54.

In September I'm turning 5 years running = :D I don't see myself stopping any time soon cause I have many years to run :D This year run a Marathon, then 2016 run for Boston and hopefully by 2017 run a Ultra Marathon. I'm willing to go to the limits and run as far I can without stopping. I have ability to walk, slow down, and to crawl but to quit, its not acceptable. When I train I say " remember what yoda said do or do not there is no try." Although many people especially my friends tell me to stop running and I say "why should I stop running, what right do you have to make that judgement and tell me to stop doing something that I enjoy doing while you sit on coach and watch tv all day huh... any words?" Then the person stays quite and I say "good its better when your mouth is shut." If I never did XC nor Track in High school, I would look like **** and feel like one. Also I proved my Biology teacher >:D I remember him saying "as you get older your metabolism slows down." I remember saying "oh he did not say that... I will prove him wrong." Now 2015 I said "Ha Mr Bio teacher, I'm still healthy and my metabolism is still the same heck I rarely get sick like twice or 3 times a year so take that science." The teacher said " well I'm proud and I guess I underestimated you of what I said. In the end I'm glad you are doing well." Your only 20 of course your metabolism hasn't changed! You could still grow a few inches!

In my freshman year I was 5'4 then now 5'8 and a half. I hope I keep getting taller :D
Last weekend after my race I ordered 1 large pizza and ate the entire pizza along with a 36 piece of wings = It was the best day every. For 4 days I couldnt stop eating since I burned 2000 calories = Awesome. Now time to get ready for a 5k in April and my 5th Half Marathon on May. Running a Half every month = what a great goal I came up and by the end, it will be worth it.
I cant be the only Distance Runner in the Dust forms lol

Nice. In Cross country I didn't improve much in my senior year so my best was 18:18 as a sophmore. Then Track season I excelled the most, I dominated in the 800 meters and was the fastest for JV and was in top 15 in our league and I was number 4.
Then in the times of both Varsity and JV in our school out of the 20 I was number 8.
I did the 800 meters a lot, ran the 2 mile sometimes, and subbed for the 4 by 4. :D
Now in college I decided not to join the running team and run alone just training for those Halfs (13.1 miles).
Some of my friends and even my mom said if the races I do are "free" I say "really you think a race is just free?? No you have to pay to run the race and the best part, Free food at the end, a nice Medal, and a T shirt so at the end of the day I can brag about it all day long xD lol.
Many of my friends stopped running after high school so very few us are still going strong.
Now that you are in High school, my best advice to you is enjoy it. Enjoy every single day of running because that last day will come in your senior year. Make friends, set your goals, and do your very best.
I knew I wasn't the fastest but if you motivate and train your mind to take the pain then you'll know how far you can go.
Some people say running is just easy but nope, its not the easiest because in a race there is no time out, half time, or any of that crap that other sports have.
Once the guy goes off its up to you to not only compete against other runners but to compete against that voice in your head that makes you wanna quit.
You have the ability to slow down, walk, and to crawl but to quit. Quitting is not acceptable.
I understand everyone runs for different reasons. I run to be competitive but to also have fun. :)

My wife is 51, but she was 49 when she stopped playing DUST 514 (which still beats everyone posting here so far). I was born the year John F. Is the bar now set at 54?

So I decided to play around with all the ages that I could reasonably guess were true, (also rounded them up to this year if you said you were turning x this year) and some numbers:
The sum of all ages posted so far add up to 1972, interestingly the same year SILENTSAM 69 was born.
The average age so far is sitting around 26.29333... years old.
There are 19 Caldari, average age of 26.36.
15 Minmatar, average age of 24.07.
29 Gallente, average age of 27.28.
12 Amarr, average age of 26.58.
Of the 75 ages I have gathered,
5 were 15. 5 were 16. 2 were 17. 4 were 18. 4 were 19. 4 were 20. 4 were 21. 3 were 22. 6 were 23, being the most popular age (mode) 3 were 24. 3 were 26. 4 were 27. 5 were 28. 5 were 31. 3 were 34. 2 were 39. 2 were 40. 2 were 41.
And there was one person each for the ages 29, 32, 33, 38, 44, 46, 47, 49, 54.
There are 43 people under the average, including the mode, indicating even the proliferation of people younger than the average is offset by a few old outliers. However, 43 is only 57%, so the outliers aren't too many and not too old, if that's any comfort. :P
Finally, my own information has been included in these calculations. If you're not interested in looking for the missing number by trawling through the past 8 pages, I'll oblige you by saying the average age without me is 26.39189, so already you know I'm not older than the average.
Why did I do all this? Because I have a weird sense of humour, and I cracked up when I thought how protecting my age like this literally meant 'safety in numbers'.
