Because picking fights with strangers in real life when we have jobs, kids, and a wife to worry about is just plain idiotic. If I can't unwind via a video game, where else can I? Does society demand I be a respectful, mature adult when I partake in my hobbies as well? This is "my time" so I'll do whatever the hell I want to relieve stress: even if it means being an immature asshat online. |

- My dad told me I was too young for Heavy Metal. When he left for work, I watched it anyway. Stoner aliens sniffing space crack off the floor, glowing orbs melting people's faces, WWII zombies, and John Candy's voice having cartoon sex with some chick. Yeah, I think my dad was right =\
- I saw Terminator for the first time and lost it when the opening scene showed a robot stepping on a human skull.
- We are the littles, la la la LA la la la.
- The closest thing I had to DUST was Laser Tag. For reference, Laser Tag was to Photon as Amarr is to Minmitar (IMHO, but SUCK IT photon freaks). Though, LT looked more like Gallente tech. Go figure.
- Howard the friggin Duck.
- Fraggle Rock, b!tches.
- 2:00AM scrambled softcore on Cimemax. We didn't subscribe to that channel, but every 3-7 seconds the static would drop and the rolling would slow down just enough to hear some chick making hot chick sounds, and if you were lucky you could make out what looked like a nipple or two.
- Mom walking in at 2:03AM asking in a panic if I'm OK cuz well... she heard noises. And saw my door was shut. Neither of us have spoken about it since.
- I had a major crush on "the Childlike Empress" a.k.a. Moonchild. So yeah, I totally laughed at that Venture Bros. episode.
- Hardee's Shirt Tales.
- Hardee's line of the Calfironia Raisins.
- McDonald's Star Wars glasses.
- Toys and Saturday morning cartoons have never been as awesome as they were when I was a kid. Period.
- Spawn.
- Discovering Weird Al and hating him for mocking Michael Jackson. Years later, rediscovering Weird Al and adoring him for mocking everything.
- Learning how to "Paint the fence"
- Wishing I was a Goonie =\ oh and not learning wtf Chunk said when Sloth picked him up and hugged him while in the basement. I thought he said "you smell like fish heads!" most of my life, only later realizing he said "phys-ed"
- Thinking the chorus to Sade's Smooth Operator was "oom boppa red eyes" until I started singing it to myself late one night in a college art school all-nighter (probably explains a lot right there, TBO). Everyone looked at me and asked wtf? After explaining to them the lyrics that i agreed made no sense whatsoever, they promptly corrected my ignorance. To add salt to the injury, it was the FRIGGIN TITLE OF THE SONG!?

- Buying a Sega Genesis during that "Buy a system and get 3 free games!" promo and getting 9 game for free cuz mom had a receipt printer at work and duplicated the purchase receipt for three different submissions. I already had the system like 3 months prior to their promo too. Mom was awesome. No account bans back then, baby! No internet either though =\ The best thing we had to **** was the Sear's Roebuck catelog.

40... and my slowing reflexes are made worse by the tendon damage resulting from ten years of doing stupid tricks while rock climbing. It terns out that jumping laterally 5 to 10 feet and catching yourself by your finger tips on a sloping almost non-existent rock ledge does not just have short term consequences if you fall, but seems to also have long term consequences for your tendons if you manage to stick it!
Now whenever I pull R1 to shoot, my thumb twitches, causing me to sometimes melee instead. I have had to completely give up on using a Shotgun as a result, and it still regularly causes me to lose kills even with automatic weapons.
Getting Old sucks. 
But I am still one of the most skilled administrators in DUST.

My father let me watch Clockwork Orange when I was 8. I don't remember much that happened when I was 8, but I remember that moving in vivid detail.
