I'm sad. I have Elite packages on all 3 characters on my account. I'm really starting to regret having my alts on 1 account. I really wanted that BPO on my alts as well as my main, and I put in a dozen wins on each of my characters.

I've dedicated a lot of time and money to my 3 characters, and this time I have been denied the prize for my 2 alts.

The event did state in two places that rewards for this will be account-wide. All you had to do was to win 3 battles on any character and then assign rewards to the character of your choice.

I fear the way this has been handled will leave a bad taste in ppls mouths, but overall cool event, cool rewards, sad we couldn't get ppl involved enough to make the original deadline. I had confidence we could do it and we underperformed

Well, I was a little let down, but for me it was just alts. Other people may feel differently, but for my part, apology accepted. I understand the ambiguity was not intended. im amazed that i not only got an immediate reply, but an apology at that. No hard feelings.

1)Regarding the rewards: I will be honest and I guess I had assumed or misinterpret the details of the challenge. I was under the impression that each character would get the rewards (or at least the a copy of a bpo for themselves).
My misinterpretation came from the bottom portion of the challenge, under the " A few notes and conditions:"

To me, I read this that each character under the main account would be understood as a separate account (seeing that the nature of each character under the player's account is separated and that none could trade or communicate between them and in itself a new character in the dust universe) .
-So in ending I was hoping for each character would have been rewarded separately and had the rewards directly seeded into each character's separate inventory.
[personally the way I understood it and with the rewards given as the way I mention above would been a great way to promote creating and playing more character in your main account beside the prime character (which in this phrasing will refer to the only character that will receive passive sp) and testing different skill progress or alternate set ups (due to the nature that each character gains their own separate sp, isk, etc.]
+ possible suggestion for future events: my possible suggestion for future events and rewards is to possibly set up a system to be able to supply the rewards for events into each character directly instead of the main overall account. This way people could, and possible will play each character under the main overall account. This also help avoid any worries about giving multiple rewards to one account to give to each character as they please and the possibility of giving way too much items/power to one character. (I'm unsure if this may prove very difficult but I believe its possible with the awesome things you did including the daily missions [which do run on only a character to character basis since each character has their own daily missions])

So.... You use the recruiter link to farm BPOs with alts that you play?
I let friends set up accounts on my system and then invite them over/drag them over/pay them/give them free drinks to come play. Which effectively means that my recruits only play when there's a party at Greivs house.
But at least its better than reward farming alts for BPOs. Whiiiich is a bannable offense as stated in the recruiter page.
You wanna rethink that admission of guilt?
