In a perfect world maybe... But if you don't ignore that people are going to run away and make it harder for the proto players to kill them, because we don't want to pad their kdr and be bored, while they get to go about their daily 'pew pew' to feed their epeen.

militia vs militia, no one cares about dieing, so there's very little 'chase,' just a whole lot of people running at each other head first, hoping for the best.


Now if the proto-stompers want to split the roles evenly, one match one team is proto and the next match those players take the role of militia lemmings... But that's not going to happen, because it's just an excuse to pad their kdr.

But don't you see? That is what the game is all about: stomp or be stomped. If you do not wish to be padding for someone's KDR, then put on full proto, otherwise you are nothing more then just padding. I wish more people could see that.

Game - yes (I do... well I use adv suits, sometimes with protato turrets on mah vehicles!)

Event - no (We have a time limit, so increasing the number of kills per minute is more important than how fast you drop someones hp, if you can catch them before they run away.)

Maybe I have not made myself clear enough. Proto stomping is what Dust 514 is all about. No one cares about an even game, if they did then proto stomping wouldn't be a problem in the first place. The problem isn't with the proto stompers, but that you think you are ment to fight them. No, that's not how it works. You are simply padding for their KDR, that is all you are, and all you ever will be until you can walk among the stompers yourself in full proto.

Stomp or get stomped, that is how the game is supposed to work.

Except, that I can fight them if I feel like it and have the team to do it... If everyone is in Proto, then there's no stomp. The purpose of my comment, is that this 'usual' approach will not work for the 'event' I could care less about your view on the 'game.'
