Last night I had this battle, a full squad of these guys spent the entire game camping at a spawn location stomping and killing. I just wanted to tell these proplayers that I'm not afraid of you protostompers asses, I can easily kill you guys one by one and I remember your names you big *****rs.... I went 11/12, I just wanted to get them payback so I kept on spawning there, but I fought with honor...

There is a difference between getting payback, and wasting money trying to get "Payback". I run ADV gear 90% of the time and kill just as well as I do in my PRO.
Killing one of us means absolutely nothing to us. If you ever get in to PC, you will realize that K/D means nothing if you don't win. If you are thinking that you are doing anything significant by killing a PRO suit and costing ISK for that player that match (Not earning a profit due to 2-3 deaths in 120-200k ISK suits), think again. ISK doesn't matter anymore.
Personally, I pissed away 500 million ISK on ADS, and ended up having a huge amount of fun packing the front of them with RE's and going all jihad ADS on tanks. I still have more than enough ISK to fund all the PRO stomping I want. Its just more fun to stomp in ADV gear since all you people do is ***** and cry about people running PRO gear ruining the game.
Please feel free to make a thread crying about how ADV gear is ruining the game, or how squads and team work is OP.

There is cheap gear, you know... BPOs, MLT, STD... One can get payback and waste a grand total of 'zero' ISK. Hell, even if you throw out proto suits for payback... ISK does not matter, like you yourself stated.

Well, you camping my spawn spot doesn't mean **** to me, since I'd be spawning in my apex heavy at that point. Neither does KDR mean anything to me. The question is, what's the point of a proto squad camping a spawn point, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Where's the game? Sad sad people. |

Nah, I've pulled out proto at that point a few times and had the highest KDR; these people can not deal with anything more complex than stomping an ant. The harder time to do it would be when they can actually be IN your spawn point, like in the train hangar map. |

I wonder if protostompers would be so good against people who will use keyboard and mouse in Legion.There will be so many Battlefield and Call of duty veterans(including me) and they will be those who will "cry" about protostomping.
This is first FPS game i tried on a controller and that's one of the reasons why some people are ahead of me.

I'm usually looking for good fights, so I'll wreck fatal dudes in 1v1s and they starting becoming 2v1s, then 3v1s. Finally, they just place REs on the spawn, no fight is better than getting wrecked.

I believe this game is what we make of it. I play the game for good fights, others play to cap out, others play to win matches, others play to get kdr others play for isk. So many options.

Its not about honor. Its about civilized behavior. If you go play a game outside of pickup football with some of your friends, would it make sense for one guy to play the game by going around kicking everyone in the balls? Why not? He is -technically- able to do it, and winning is very important, so why not?
Because this isnt a job, its not a way of making a living. Its supposed to be a game between a group of people who are all participating for fun with a health competitive spirit. Going back to that football example, those people got together because they wanted to do things like passes, runs, interceptions. None of them went there to get kicked in the balls.
The OP is complaining about vets, who can do better and know better, camping a CRU. That means the other team spawns in and dies right away. Its like they are making it so these players cant even play the game....in the name of what? building numbers? Why dont they just go play a 1 player game if all they want to do is shoot people with no chance to get numbers no one cares about? |

It's the same when people come on the forums claiming spam . Self imposed set of rules to tell you , you can't run links in high points , not to use more then 3 heavies or HAV's per team or else someone will try to call you out like the OP in the forums . Don't snipe close to or in the red line , drop ship ramming or jihad jeeps , running logi / heavy combo or a team with more then 4 scouts ( which is most if not every match ) , these are things that people come to the forums to complain about while they try to impose their desired play type for their enemy , don't get me started talking about those who campaign in attempts to nerf a style that they don't like .

People camp because they know someone will be stupid enough to spawn in there.
The alternative is to just sit on your hands and wait for the game to be over with instead of trying to find more red berries to kill.
If you want to blame anything, blame matchmaking, no one team should be able to have such a successful redline so easily all the time. You don't get matches where it seems like an actual fight for victory. Granted you do still get that golden match where it's a challenge for both sides and not just a slaughter.
Look forward to the 4 man squads instead of the current 6 man ones, less people with 60mil+ sp crammed into a squad means better odds of balancing teams out.

2. People stomp cuz they always rely on their 'people'. Alone, they're nothing more than newbie with isk.

Killing one of us means absolutely nothing to us. If you ever get in to PC, you will realize that K/D means nothing if you don't win. Personally, I pissed away 500 million ISK on ADS, and ended up having a huge amount of fun packing the front of them with RE's and going all jihad ADS on tanks. I still have more than enough ISK to fund all the PRO stomping I want. Its just more fun to stomp in ADV gear since all you people do is ***** and cry about people running PRO gear ruining the game.
Please feel free to make a thread crying about how ADV gear is ruining the game, or how squads and team work is OP.

o7 Well, you camping my spawn spot doesn't mean **** to me, since I'd be spawning in my apex heavy at that point. Neither does KDR mean anything to me. The question is, what's the point of a proto squad camping a spawn point, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Where's the game? Sad sad people. Well...
