Remember it is in the interest of a PC Corp to keep you active for up coming battles. Its beyond me how some people are unable to see it. Its like "Ok, im going to fit a suit that is impossible for a regular guy to kill, going to fit a gun and modules that will kill him in a milisecond, and then ill get 5 others like me standing beside me just to be sure". Then they wonder why the regular guy hangs back and doesn't want to participate. Lets not blame the guy with 40mil SP for stomping the guy with 4 mil. Lets blame the guy with 4 mil for not doing enough to defend himself. Thats the Dust community mentality. Your just falling for all the bullshit forum propaganda and not taking a step back and looking at the situation objectively. Say we give new players 30 million SP, Aim assist, Lower TTK so they can kill something, Dumb the game down instead of explaining it.... Will these players get magically competitive? We can hand these players every tool in the game they will still get the same results... And if you think differently then you just a tool. Trying to fit DUST's game concepts and idea's into the CoD Box that everyone should be competitive and have a chance from the instant you pick up a controller has killed this game and made it SOOOOOOOOOOO BORING. Chromosome build has 100x times more fun then DUST today... And there is alot more DUST today.. then back then... Doesn't matter, Same reason original NES games can attract a new gamer used to new triple A titles and occupy them for days actually having fun. We can dumb down DUST, give new players every tool in the game it will all be for the worse.. These players that are having the game development catered to, will be worst off for actual game skill. And the players here will be chased away by how stagnate, boring and simplistic the game becomes. Battle academy should have had ALL THE TIME that was spent on balancing different weapons and suits.. Spent on BAttle academy and creating a separate novice population. PC Should of been completely refocused and redone, and had a vital part in how EVE players interacted with planets and sov. Instead CCP catered to their middle crowd, The uninspired and the lazy that usually didn't care one way or the other with the game. Getting and keeping new players should of been their priority. Creating an ultra competitive CCP-like End game that gives meaning to playing the game long term should of been their second focus. All CCP Shanghai focused on with this IP... Is tweaking little numbers that ultimately mean Nothing in the big picture of DUST... One weapon will be OP while one will be less so.. The time CCP Employees wasted by nerfing and buffing things in DUST is like a giant sad joke played on the community.
