yea i'm assuming the ant system removed to dumbdown/streamline the action so the casuals won't QQ.. still a great FPS minus some of it's soul... burster AA is bugged right now and kills everything.. i think the reason for low pop is the burster makes everyone rage quit. lock on air to air missiles with broken counter measures and broken fire suppression doesnt help either.. i signed up the first week of december still no code, thanks to fizzer i got a code.
but yea atm 1-12 allies/1-12 enemies shown mostly at the spawns.. with a moment of 12-24s.. no ones missing anything really except a travel time in between 12 vs 12 fights.. |

it's not every day a squad is impressed by valkryrie, i had good support tho both on ground and air, the planets were aligned for that flight, only server maintenance could bring us down.
Get 2 engis with maxed out flak armour and two HA's with the same with lock on launchers, your gunner and you and then you have a mini flying fortress lol.
The engis need maxed repair guns though for anything serious.
Matchmaking will boost the ps3 capability by 1000% and we can enjoy Dust for years to come......

They're working on max weapon artwork as well. It looks really good so far.
That's just the artists while the other devs work on performance tweaks.

Saw that art work, would LMG's for my Max, hope it happens. I wreck with mattocks and Ravens, but need something to counter TR Max units.

I think I have figured out how to balance Dust and PS2. I play Dust first. Then I can end my evening on a good note. 
Finally made ISK/profit in Dust, coming back up to speed with the new setups. Not playing for five months left me a little rusty. Now I can make a profit, but nothing like the old days. My alt heavy made 1M ISK per day.
But ending with PS2, that changed my evening. Ended frustrated with how slow Dust is. Cannot run, walk is pathetic and a Heavy is a joke. Then switch to my TR heavy with the six shot RPG. Man, I love that weapon. Combined with the minigun and the 44 he is fun to run. Blew up four Sunderers tonight. An untold number of ATVs. Good times.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.
450 resource points, max.

EU BETA KEYS are out today and tomorrow keep an eye out peeps, they are ramping up the numbers now to make sure battles are working correctly.
looking forward to dieing horrible and stuiped number of times as i learn to ESF again :P.
also dust guys stop trolling the planetside 2 beta forum it is both shocking and funny to see familer names poping up their causing all the same trouble they used to here 2 :P

A good time to practice hacking everything in sight. Drop a Sunderer or a Galaxy if you are feeling wacky then fly/drive to a nice spot with lots of turrets! And terminals of any kind. If you spend much time doing that you will have the wrong colored icons in no time.
Past that how are you finding the game? And what faction, if you don't mind me asking. This is New Eden where everybody is touchy, and crooked.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

I have a few serious issues.
1) The nerfing and buffing requests are below pathetic. People need to stfu.
2) My clan (about 200 people) are no longer interested generally from seeing the nerfing and buffing requests along with....
3) The kisses and hugs type bullsht going on in the forums between 'enemies'.
I don't think i'll take part in the beta either myself as i look at the forums and it is people whining for nerfs, proclaiming who is the best and 'hugging'.
I'm really not interested in that and i tink i'll wait until the actual game starts. I'm not investing time in a game where everyhing could potentially be nerfed into a joke, no thanks.

That was a one day thing just to fuk around as the TR has a 50% pop advantage every day and got sick of them running their mouths about how great their tank spam was. We fixed it and became mortal enemies again, trust me.
If the guys you play with want to base assumptions solely off what they see on forums, I'm gonna refrain comment on that. It does make sense as the TR does have the easiest to use entry level weapons and I think that's why the TR has the pop advantage, probably why your clanmates want to go TR for guaranteed wins and stomps, lol.
Believe me, there is much hatred among the factions but the day before the server wipe everyone 'TR included" decided to have a little fun before losing our progression. Had a cease fire 20 min before server shutdown and wipe for photo shoots of all outfits and players in the initial phase of the beta as we were lucky to have been the first to play. "see vids and pics on forums".
It was a landmark and special day for all of us in the first phase of that beta that no-one will ever have again and we just sort of relaxed the last twelve hours. We were the first to play and no-one will take it back. Tell your guys to dig a little deeper before thinking the TR is getting ganged up on.
We also try to keep the forums somewhat civilized as we don't have a war room as they are monitored much closer as you know. But it's all forgotten on the battlefield.
Screw the alt, go hard mode with us...

Ok here's another fun thing. Not very practical but it's fun as ****.
If the coast is clear and a base is won, rather than redeploying into the gal, do a thing called scraping (it makes the gal pilots job a lot more fun).
Everyone lines up, the gal pilot lines himself up on approach and he then flies down really low and everyone pushes enter vehicle as he flies past.
If it works then everyone will be inside the gal on their merry way to the next load of carnage.
If it fails, everyone gets squished but it is really fun.

Sounds like a blast.
The only nerf buff thread we have been involved in revolves around the VS Magrider. Right now the vehicle turret sensitivity is broken, way to sensitive so other tanks are utterly useless against them as the Mag has a fixed turret that turns with the vehicle.
TR and NC tanks can't hit a wall thirty meters away from them on the move cause you cant fine adjust your turret, it just drastically moves past target. Other than that we stay out of the nerf buff whining, it's a beta.
The only thing I mean about the TR weapons being easier for beginners is the sheer rate of fire put out by the weapons attracts people. Other than that I'll take NC weapons any day. Finally decided to get the Anchor the day before the wipe and man do I wish I did it sooner!!! Too many places to put certs so I had to prioritize, lol.
Euro server opens up tomorrow and codes going out in a few hours, good luck and see you in there...

Have they already sent them? I registered the day the registration was updated to include a country selection and haven't got a code yet. EU Store normally updates tomorrow though, so I'm still hopeful. |

i dont think the EU codes have been sent out yet until tommorow.. i still have not received mine i signed up for in december.. if you got a code from someone else then your screwed because they are sending a new code to that original email for the new patch. so you need a whole new code to DL it.. |

yea i signed up 3 different times in december in USA still no code.. i got one from someone else but in order to play the new build it requires a whole new code to download. yea real fkng sht system.. ppl begging/buying codes i'm sure SOE is loving the drama of it all.. i'm trying to just forget about it completely but i really dont feel like going out and buying hardline, i think i spent 20 hours total with BF 3 and 4.. |

no i wasn't pointing you out with that statement i will also beg but it's just stupid because last i played it was extremely underpopulated.. idk wtf their trying to limit the server to.. i'm like i've seen bigger battles in dust.. it just sux because my gun game was getting sharp again and that goes back to crap after a dormaint week or 2.. and then it takes me another week or 2 to get it back.. i dont want to tarnish that any by playing dust which we all know is very bad for your over all gun game outside of dust.
well today at work i was just moody because i didn't have my fill of FPS blood for the past few days... thanks for the headsup on hardline, i kinda figured as much.. my coworker was trying to talk me into it but he refuses to play PS2 last month despite i wasted a code on him. and he plays advance warfare much so yea it kinda all makes sense now.. i will not be buying hardline for $70 as i've been let down by that franchise after bad company 2. |

Still no EU code and about another 150 people i know also have not had their code.
I'm a patient guy but i am actually getting impatient with this lol.
