Until everybody and their mother started abusing/using it. 500 armor mofos with 3 damage mods ect kb/m strafe tactics ect.
Literally killed my fun. I hate when a suit goes from a "Fun time" to a requirement to be competitive.
Every corner I turn it's either a Min Ass or a heavy.
I remember a time when I used to be the only guy on the field with a Min Assault ripping people to shreds.

Ive always ran Matari suits.
Minja when everybody had cal/gal scouts.
Now minjas are common.
Been running MinAss forever.
Now that suit is FOTM.
Meh. As long as they dont nerf it to oblivion.

eHP + slot buff + no speed loss = FOTM.
eHP,and a 4/3 layout would've been enough.
But combined all changes made to the assault class made them FOTM.
CCP was desperate to make assaults useful,but didn't consider the drawbacks.
Or worse,they buffed them with the intention of making them FOTM.

Sadly I think it is the worse..
There is no way CCP nerfed the scout that the vast majority was using while buffing the assault to not create a massive switch in the game for FOTM...
They have done this too many times to not know it would happen. |

I still don't see it though. Definitely seeing more Minmatar assaults these days, but it seems like the Amarr assault is just as prevalent. Amarr heavies though... now those things are common.

I run Gal on my main and That suit is fun in its own respect. Reps, kincats amd damps, hit hard and escape. Just keep doing what you like.

I see a lot of Cal Scouts and Gal Scouts. Definitely more Gal Scouts. Not as many Minjas. Minjas aren't that competitive scout v scout.

The most versitile suit in the game caoable to fit a wide array of Modules and people choose to tank it up completely.
This playerbase is cancerous.

Is it true that to get into T.H.I.R.D.R.O.C.K. you have to have a Min Assault Mk.0?

Yup, we should "Nerf" the suit to its old 5/2 setup & we'll see the REAL MinAssaults & not all these tourists.
But, at the same time, whatever. The suit kicks ass.
PS. The suit always kicked ass, its just way more user friendly now.

So true. Noting is more annoying than going up against brick tanked shield suites. Usually Gallante and Amarr don't brick tank and I rarely ever see them brick tank but boy oh boy do the Min Assaults users have a brain abnormality to always brick tank. (most of them at least)

Not that I know of, my mk.0 alt isnt in a corp,on my main all my other suits are gallente gk.0. Nice jab tho slick.

Newbie amarr assaults maybe ....you will see 5 adv min assaults for 1 adv amarr ....had the newbies known how doodoo the suit was they wouldn't have picked it.....they pick it cause the amarr look cooler....that's 95% why I picked it when I first started playing

I dunno, in comparison, I see more proto Amarr assaults than I do proto Minmatar... Perhaps it's just because the companies that make Minmatar gear stopped taking duct tape as payment.

Your delusional then lmfao I rarely see an AK0 in match but I see atleast 2 people on the enemy team with MK0 constantly... I was just in a game where 5 players on my team were MK0.....and they still did mediocre lol

My STD GalAss has 388 Armor
My ADV and Proto GalAss have 453 Armor.
I see MinAss at ADV and Proto level with 500+ armor and still being faster than me....
