There's usually only one squad on each side. The 10-12 solo dudes on each side will still be doing very little. Only now the uplink spammers are getting nerfed so I'm predicting WP production overall to be WAY down.
The bandwidth changes, passive scan changes, and mini orbitals help squads but the biggest issue is still crappy payouts. All these changes will keep the randoms more firmly in the redline.

I understand I am probably an exception to the rule, but that doesn't change the fact there are some solo players who are at least capable if not outright good.

There is now a 50% WP bonus 50m from any objective.
I think WP production is going up, for people actually pushing the objectives.
Going to be a lot of butt hurt try-hards due to placing mid-pack on the scoreboard.

I think this will have a bigger impact on how Logi's play than Bandwidth...by a long stretch. While Bandwidth might make Logi's seem more valuable to the team on the surface, I wonder if these strikes won't nullify some of that by making equipment too ephemeral, greatly reducing the value of placing uplinks near the front lines. This is why I advocate for increased number carried, scaled based on Logistics suit skill, even if "uses" are reduced.
FPS = First Person Support. Kills win battles but it's kinda hard to kill if you're dead and out of ammo.

It only costs 300 wp to call flux orbital. They will be spammed non stop. I will spam one running solo every 30 sec to a minute. |

The bonus is only 25% near an objective.
The only way to get points with an EMP Orbital is destroying equipment (which will be toned down substantially and only gives 7ish points anyway) and getting vehicle damage (which I'm not even sure would happen).
Also, I think it was 500 points for the small orbitals.

Because with new bandwidth on deployed equipment and mini fluxes knocking out everything else the pace of play is going to be slowed down. Less spawn points close to battle means less actual fighting which leads to even less of a chance for the larger OB. Even with how things are currently you rarely see an orbital from anyone until after the match is about 80% over with.
There are too many things being introduced here that seriously impact pace of play. Whether its more people in logi suits to keep their stuff alive or less ability to spawn things are going to shift, likely in a bad way since these kind of mechanics really should not exist with only a match size of 16 v 16. These are the kind of things that we should be talking about if we had 30+ players per side. |

We already get rekt by all these glorious alpha damage weapons within the timespan of 1-3 seconds, its just one more nail in the shield tanking coffin.

Because I would rather kill uplinks and equipment spammed on a roof every time the enemy team goes up there, (which is about as often as one can call in a militia dropship) than
- fly a 300+ k ADS through a barage of swarm and forge fire to kill about 5k worth of equipment, or - attack equippment with said ADS to find out its been glitched into the wall/floor - Try to snipe heavies standing on triage hives from the redline, or - tossing flux grenades at the rooftop just to watch them bounce off the sides and fall backwards, or - head back to the redline, call in a regular dropship to storm the roof only to get blown to bits by the redline tank or the rooftop AV in question, or - let them shoot me the entire match from the roof/keep jumping off of the same place until my squad gets enough WP to get a major orbital we might not need anymore....
Why should i just let the enemy team camp on the rooftop (getting WP, kills, and triage points, and a tactically advantagous place to attack the objecive) because i migt get 4-5 kills with a OB later on?
Kill the equipment + stranded clones remaining, secure the objective, and i won't need to try to orbital the roof or orbital the MCC.
Redline for Thee, but no Redline for Me.
