I've noticed a lot of people are shying away from these suits due to the lack of customization, particularly because of some of the weapons the suits come with. So, I'd like to make the suggestion of, at the very least, allowing us to choose what weapon goes on our suits. Let's say I'm using an APEX assault, if it's a Gallente suit, restrict us to plasma weapons, if we're running a Caldari suit, limit us to rail weapons and so on and so forth. It would be nice to have a double plasma cannon fitting on a Gallente Commando, or a burst assault rifle or shotgun instead of a standard assault rifle on the Spartan Assault. Also, if we could pick what kind of weapon goes on our suits like a light or sidearm, given what the base suit has. Like if we could use another sidearm in place of our light weapon. Of course, the question of the Sentinels comes into play. For this, I suggest allowing us to choose between either of the heavy weapons and any of the other light and sidearm specifically made for that suit's faction. I say that we should be able to choose which heavy weapon since there are only two of them and apparently, racial standings don't come into play considering that The Amarr has a heavy machine gun and the Gallente has a forge gun.
This is just a suggestion, of course. Right now I'm very happy with my current suit.

This is regarding the Spartan Assault. The spreadsheet states that the suit has an active scanner. This is apparently after the changes have been made to this series of BPOs. I just acquired a Spartan and it doesn't have the scanner, it has a nanohive.
What's the deal?

From the DEV's post earlier in this thread, I'd say they still haven't adjusted it ingame to include a scanner, but they will (eventually).

Sooooo... since these APEX suits were/are aimed at noobs (regardless of who is actually using them), can we vets/more experienced players get some other BPO suits in the store?
Customisable standard BPOs? I really wanted a Gal Assault, Min Assault, Min Scout, Gal Commando and Min Commando; but HATE the Quafe suits.
If not, how about some like the Quafes (for AUR) but BETTER colour schemes.

LMAO. All modules/weapons/equipment are STD on ALL the APEX suits. Maybe you should have done your homework.

when will we have customizable dropsuits by colors. Like make a system where you can make a design for your weopon or change the color of your dropsuit. I think tht would be cool. I seee a lot of ppl hating about how the apex things arent actually custiomizable. so they get mad and think ccp is scamming them. But i just thought for it to be cool to have actual unique colors for your loadouts and whateves. |
