Why ? Because who needs skill when you can use aim assist with a high alpha weapon ? The thing that annoys me the most is that they are usually at least 5 of them per team. Usually in dom I go up against 4 heavies 5 Scouts 1 logi and 2 mlt dudes.

I hate shotguns so much that I have deleted all my suits with a SGf on them.
I only run it on a ninja hacking scout ( needed to clear an objective before hack ) and feel bad for every kill I get. I try to ignore militia dudes and kill them only if in danger.
I don't wan them uninstalling the game because of a broken tactic.
I feel bad for every kill I get with it as it is just cheap.
And as the saying goes " what goes around comes around". So I use it the least possible.

I don't know how you could balance this gun really. Maybe a rof nerf to make it shoot as fast a mass driver.
Now that I really think of it , it really sounds like a good idea.

Anyway people , have fun the way you want !. I can't change how people play.
I will say this tho.
What is more fun , a challenge that you accomplished or a routine that you easily accomplish.

Now I hope accomplishing the challenge becomes a routine.
I hope to see more PLC'ers and Knifers on the field .

dont worry im sure ccp will adjust the cloak delay.. in the meantime why not run a gal logi (level 5) with 2 focused scanners so you can see the sneeky crutch scrubs

Because of cores XD. I have to many dropsuits and need to finish getting my own cloak, and passive armor and shields.

I can one hit kill things right out of the cloak too... With my PLC.

Thoug I think the most frustrating part about cloak/shotgun is that they can pop 3-4 guys with a single clip. I think they should Nerf clip size a bit, maybe same as militia (6) so you can't clear an entire squad solo in one run, it should take a few passes to clear a squad.

I think you are blaming the wrong thing. It's not the shotgun imo. It's not even the cloak. If a scout sneaks up on you and shotguns them good on them and too bad for you.

But if you see them coming and STILL can't kill them then there is a problem. Currently, you can see a scout coming and often can't shoot them down. That's the problem.

i hope no one mentions the Full auto shotgun which is comming...

it's a shame really. I feel the same way and it's usually for the noobs. I'd hate for new people to get deterred from continuing to play because this game is already dying so we need new people to be able to come in and have some fun and stick around.

However all online games will have the problem of players abusing mechanics and cheap tactics etc. The reasons vary too. Some like to stoke their ego by having high k/d or stats. Some just get a hard-on by angering other people; gives them a laugh and these type think because it's just a game that it's ok to have sinister and negative intentions (they miss the point). The word "trolling" seems to be attractive to internet "kids".

Camping is one of those things I just can't bring myself to do because I don't want to be one of those cheapskate jerks. Plus it's just not satisfying just sitting there waiting for some poor victim to spawn or walk around the corner; I'm pleased when I out-skill someone for the kill, THAT'S when it gets fun and satisfying.

The bottom line is that any online game (shooters especially) will have people who ruin it for the rest of us. They don't care if people think it's cheap, they don't care if you get pissed off, they don't care if they ruin the game. This is just how (unfortunately) our society is; people looking out only for themselves at the expense of others.
