Yes, please consider doing so. All suits do need some sort of armor reps, so don't remove their reps. But as the race that is best at repping, Gallente should have just a liiiittle bit more.

wont make any difference at all. if you want to wait ages to regain your armor, well go for it.
dont be bad and fit some repairs, or carry a triage hive. |

And i will be useless like logi How ? There are always things that Logi's can do like scan giving intel , laying hives for support , reaping because now it won't be so hard and locked on each individual and this will help cover your flank and get the troops back into the fight faster ... I don't think that Logi's will suffer , if anything this gives them more " wiggle room " .
Don't forget those precious spawns .

It's just not cricket. The main advantage is that it frees up suits for more creative fits, especially on the low end, and on shield suits, with limited low slots. And that was one of my biggest complaints .
Change the Caldari Sentinel shield resistance bonuses to laser and projectile and I would begin to think that CCP liked me .

Henrietta Unknown wrote:I know that the Cal Sentinel could use an innate repper so it can still employ a regulator effectively. But you had so many that were against that and I just didn't understand that one at all .
I like competition and if all suits are viable , that makes for a better game with great combat .
Now no one can complain about dying easily , if you get killed now .. you just got bested and nothing more , can't blame lack luster suits ( well I can still complain about Cal Sent bonuses , it should be laser and projectile ) or OP weapons anymore .
This game is going to be great and I can't wait to see those numbers climb .
It's bound to happen .

Armor repping from 0.5 to 3 hp/s?
I guess the armor reps are nice, but they are at such a slow rate that I doubt they will have any substantive effect on gameplay...other than reactive plate sales will likely take a dip resulting in even more armor stacked on the battlefield and further contributing to armor tanking's apparent dominance. |

Actually, I've replaced some reps with reactives. I get roughly the same reps as before and now a little boost to armor.

All the races have an advantage in some way. The Amarr get extra armour and stamina. The Caldari get extra shield regen and reduced regen delays. The Minmatar get extra speed and extra stamina regen. The Gallente previously got a small innate armour repair of 1-3 HP/s (although any repair fitted dropsuit will quickly render that negligible as 2 HP/s in 30 HP/s is practically irrelevant). Now, the Gallente advantage is 0.5 HP/s. All of the other races trump this bonus hugely.

Native suit reps will be useless on a suite stacking Plate, as they will not rep fast enough, so you will likely only see Shield suits dropping the Armor Repair mod. It makes Shield Regulators a lot more viable, and Kin Cats.
Not to mention the Standard Caldari SentinelGǪ which has NO LOW SLOT! This was very much needed for Cal Sent.

The way I see it, commandos had no reps before (save Galcom) so whatever reps they have now, even if they swapped rates with assaults, it's a bonus. Commandos get the damage boost, assaults get the reps. Assaults need it more as they have less ehp and weaker skill bonuses.....unless Mr Rattati has something up his sleeve.

Just spit-balling an idea while the next match loads up.
How's about a 0.5 armor repair per second for each level of Dropsuit Upgrades? I mean, it's a useless skill that has absolutely no bonus right now and it wouldn't directly interfere with the Gallente's rep-king potential. If anything, it'd be an SP sink as well, even though it's very small.

Being a cal who rarely plates, I LOVE the native reps.
How many times have I had 63 of my 200 armor remaining and watched a rep tool run by stuck to a full heavy with no fire on him... Too **** many...
Thanks CCP
