True, but the interesting thing is that it states "mercenary's skills" rather than Capsuleer, which is what EVE pilots have been known as since I think the very beginning. Plus, EVE is much, much, MUUUCCCCHHHH more set in stone as written by Moses/Jesus/Buddha/Allah/Flying Spaghetti Monster about never giving Skill Refunds. The only time I can remember there being a refund was when the learning skills were completely removed and that was because it was about 20% of a newer player's SP and the change was too big to not cause problems without refunding. DUST is more liberal in that regard, being a different game and more casual, about them. I would still be surprised if it means what it might mean. EVE has had small arms and tanks on the market interface for a while now but obviously no way to buy or make them. With the economy never coming, it sits there as a relic of things not meant to be. Again, this is all up in the air and we are probably reading WAAAYYY too much into this. CCP brought back BPO's because people wanted it and bought them. An Aurum SP refund would have people clamoring to throw cash at the screen. There's no critical thinking going on there. True, but if you only have 15mil SP, those 5mil you sank into stupid stuff as a newberry would be far more useful than when you have 40mil. That being said, I'm not quite at my first 10mil, and probably wouldn't respec unless it was relatively cheap to do. Even if I did respec, it would probably be only for losing the dropsuits in exchange for core upgrades, which itself is only about 1mil or so anyways. Maybe lose the vehicle upgrades, I don't use those much either. But I remember clearly being overwhelmed with the plethora of choices combined with crappy descriptions, making it a lot of trial and error. Either way, you're right about the common misperception of a respec being some kind of Holy Grail that will make us all Super Slayers, lol Just my 2 ISK
